I had SPD with DS2 from quite early on - 17 weeks I think so I do feel for you ladies with it. From the start with this one I've been careful getting in and out of the car, turning over in bed etc and apart from some twinges it's been ok so far (touching wood quickly). I'm wondering if this baby is a bit lighter or lying differently. But it's a blimmin killer isn't it. Got my GTT on the 3rd August - I'm at higher risk of it apparently with my dad and nan having it and being overweight. Well I didn't get it with either of the boys so I think I'll be ok. I keep checking my blood sugar levels with my dad's testing kit :rotfl:Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Been to see the midwife. Baby is now at 3/5. Heartbeat was a little fast after being prodded but he calmed down
and all was fine. Mentioned the swollen feet and she said she has it too but she isnt pregnant so dont worry.
I mentioned about using a birthing ball to get him into place and she said that would be good. I dont actually have one though, I have a gym ball lol :rotfl: will it do the same thing?:j0 -

Vacuumed the world.. after carrying the vacuum downstairs.. and having OH move so I could vacuum under his feet and laptop...
Put dinner on
Had a grouch..
Sent children to tidy pits..
2/3rd's through digging out the backroom... I need the rabbits out so I can flea spray the carpet.. the blighters appear to be having a party in there...
Why does noone ever help do any of this stuff? I have just been moaned at because I refuse to badger the boys to go to bed early.. when it means running up and down stairs 1000 times.. !!!!!!.. it isn't like I wanted this and chose to be unable to walk far!! I swear I am going to disembowel him in his sleep if he doesn't start helping!!! It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and loved and appreciated having to do everything myself..
Decorator not got back to me so I may well end up wallpapering week after next as wellLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I got a phone call from the hospital this morning about my blood tests, it would appear that I am high risk of having a baby with Down's - 1 in 31 chance. I've got a counselling appointment with the Consultant on Friday to talk about things further.0

hi all
pigpen you really seem to be having a tough time big hugs maybe try not doing it no tea no washing etc and see if he gets the message thats what i would do anyway lol.
of to the pictures tonight with OH then getting a chinese takeaway on way home had a bit easier day at work today so feel lots better i cant wait to start my maternity leave (only 11 work days left) and just relax although we are waiting for builder to give us a start date for garage conversion this week or next hopefully so i probably wont be able to relax that much. once its done we can clear out babys room its lucky its going to be in our room for a while because poor little thing wont fit in its own room lol.
i was wondering when everyone is going to pack hospital bag iv heard lots of different advice. i dont want to pack it too early but i also dont want to be packing it while im in labour some places say 35 wks but that seems a bit early to me (and thats next week which is even more scary) iv bought most of the stuff i need so its just a case of organising it.
anyway labour vibes to anyone who wants/needs them
another bump in the way, my bump now turns the childlock on on the washing machine when i lean over to reach the controls on the boiler it took me and OH half an hour reading the instructions to work out how to turn it off so we could use the washer lol:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:
 but alcohol solves them all
