You're a very clever lady cos that's exactly what it's like!!! It's been diagnosed as pompholyx eczema - is that what you have? If the idiot doctor I saw last week had bothered to examine it he might have diagnosed it. Luckily I saw my usual lovely doctor today and she knew straight away what it was. So have some steroid cream and some emollient too :D

Glad you got sorted! And yes, thta is what I have although I guess I must be lucky as I don't get much itching. I find i got more of it when it's hot weather so it's really bad at the minute and I now have a few sores developing where the skin is flaking off (it does that once the blisters have dried up!). I only get that on the really bad patches though where I have lots of blisters close together.

Coming from someone who regularly went to school without a pen... You won't ;)

If nothing else you'll be worried about doing it so it won't happen :)

Ta Delain. I'm the 2nd out of 5, with eight years separating us, I'm by far the quietest.

I don't hold out a lot of hope though- my parents once did a rough headcount on holidays, and left me reading a book in a layby in France for half an hour!

Well I am fed up... my hips and back are really really painful today.. and someone else had an appointment with MW in the last week or so and has seen the physio already.. I am fit to cry now.. the painkillers are crap and just not touching this now.

I've had 2 referrals sent (Though I still think they put them in the bin the second I am out of the door) and despite the fact I can't walk more than about 20 yards I am still not allowed an appointment.. They refused to make the referral at all when I had Squeak last year which is slightly more honest.. despite the fact my GP specifically asked them to.. and this time they haven't done it either.

I hate the lot of them.. they lie and are deceiptful and dishonest and condescending and they pee me right off...

OH has moaned at me because I've stropped and he said I should ring and complain.. ring who??????? I don't have anyone to ring.

I am fed up of being in pain.. I want to take my superdrugs I normally take for the arthritis and go to bed!

Well GTT done - wait until Friday/Monday for the results (I'm seeing the consultant on Monday anyway) - bloody hope I don't have diabetes - can really do without the sh&t I'll get for that from my Mom!

I have visions of bathing the baby & it shooting out from between my hands like a bar of soap in a Carry On film :o I'm clueless having not had any close contact with babies before but I'm in denial about the whole thing anytime after 38 weeks :o

Hope you feel better soon Pigpen - the main pain in my pubic bone has eased for now but my back is aching something chronic today - only another 3.5 hours of sitting pointlessly at work...

Oh and bizarrely my last PCT were going to do a 34 week growth scan (due to my high BMI) but my new one do TWO extra (30 and 36 weeks the nurse thinks)! I'm not complaining but why?

Poor Pigpen!!!! It all sounds so frustrating!
I would be on the phone complaining to absolutely everybody by now - I'm a big believer in pester power. Having worked in retail for years, I've seen the complaining experts , and they always get what they want. I would start by complaining to the MW for referring someone else, but not me. I would complain to the physio dept for lack of info, lack of help. If I hit any brick walls, ask for their manager, if they are 'unavailable' ask for their manager's manager :D
Take everyone's name as you go. Someone will be able to help you, if you annoy them enough. It sounds like you really need them to get their act together.

Well they say I am.. but I have been waiting 15 weeks and not got one so I guess once again I am not allowed the same things as everyone else.

I think I am just special!

I don't have anyone to ring .. I've had no contact from them at all.. and TBH I don't really have the energy to chase them it is taking me everything I have to chase the baby!!!

I'll be fine after a moan.. I'll no doubt have another moan in a few day or weeks.. probably about all the same stuff..

They don't do any at all here for high BMI so don't knock it!

They just want to refer you to the dietician after booking if you are 'overweight' or heavier.. I think it is BMI 30 or over.

I'd rather go back to Slimming World than a dietician - I don't do hungry :rotfl:

My BMI was 37 when I got pregnant :o, but lost a stone in the first three months (have put it back on plus some since!
