Bad night :( and feeling sorry for myself post!

Been up to the loo about 6 times already. Having lower back pain and pain in my front hip area. Have taken 1 and 1/2 paracetamol, the other half fell in the sink lol. Hoping it eases soon :( Doesnt make me feel any better that husband has to go take the car to get fixed today so Im at home on my own. Could go to my parents but not sure I want to when Ive not had much sleep.

    Morning all.

Supermaiden, sorry you had a bad night. See if you can relax a bit this morning?

I deliberately haven't looked at reviews of hospitals- if I go at home, or near, there's only one hospital anyway, if I go at work- again, only one near there too. So I'm not really faced with a lot of choice, and decided it was probably better not to worry unnecessarily. Using the same reasoning as someone else on the last page- there's usually more bad reviews than good posted, and I don't want to be panicking.

Wonderwomble- please don't worry, I do hope results for you on Friday are in your favour.

    Morning

Hope your feeling better soon supermaiden! lack of sleep makes everything 100 times worse in my opinion get a nice bath and back in bed with a good film, try and have a doze, always works for me :)

Not feeling to bad today :) backs aching a bit bit but nothing to terrible, had a better sleep last night with it being a bit cooler. Think I did too much yesterday so just gonna have a rest today might do a bit of cleaning but nothing major. Need to ring docs get a repeat sick note, mine runs out monday, there is no way I can work with this bump I can just about manage a 10 min walk to drop DS at school, no chance of managing a 7.5 hour shift.

Hope everyone has a lovely day anyone any nice plans, weather here is a bit grey and miserable :(

    xxxx

41+1 today. Got a midwife appointment this morning.
Am afraid they are going to start bullying me about induction. (Don't want to be induced - have spent the last 9 months being careful with what put in my body (food/alcohol/medicine), so am not about to let them pump me full of artificial hormones & drugs :(

My Mum went 14 days overdue with me, so am confident i'll do the same & then my body will give birth! Just rather avoid the fight .....

    Morning ladies and bumps

Wonderwomble I really hope everything goes OK for you. DH's colleague is pregnant and the risk of Downs was 1 in 8!!!! But even she came out all clear in the end. Everything crossed for you. xx

Had ante natal class last night. Hubby and I were tasked with trying to put on a sling with a baby (doll) in it. Lol it was like the Krypton Factor! Needless to say we did it all wrong but even the class teacher couldn't work it out. Hmmmm.....:rotfl:

    Morning Ladies

Feeling tired.com this morning, haven't had a proper nights sleep for over a week and just feel shattered. Going back to bed in a bit with a big bag of cherries and a new book and am going to try and get some rest. OH wants to go camping this weekend, but i will probably cry if i dont get some sleep soon and camping at 30 weeks pregnant is not going to be comfortable or relaxing.

Wonderwomble, everything crossed for you xxxx

Camping at 30 weeks??? You have got to be kidding!!
Air-mattresses, no convenient toilet and a hot tent, do not make for a comfortable nights sleep. Tell him to catch himself on. Better still, put a little play tent in the garden for him to sleep in.:rotfl:

    Good luck Supermaiden!!
