Kandboys it's only meant to be dangerous early on, or so I was told.
My twins had it when I was 16 weeks with Squeak, I've never had it and I was fine and baby was fineMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

That's good to hear Delain thanks. I'm just fed up it's one thing after another here. Fed up of keep going into surgery which is 20 mins away as I'm in the sticks just for a stupid blood test when I was there anyway. I'm definitely complaining.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Got into bed at 5.45, OH woke up and as his alarm was set for 6.15 we spent half an hour cuddling and talking (which was really lovely), then I got up with him and made his sarnies, washed up then got back into bed, had about 1.5 hours then had to get up. Going to try and get another hour or two in a min I think.
Thanks Bella, me too, I think the reason I didn't sleep was because I was anxious so I'm going to try and tire myself out today to get good sleep tonight.
Lirin, hope you get through the day ok, and get more sleep tonight.
Elmo, I think our baby might look like that! At the growth scan the sonographer said she could see lots of fluffy hair... I thought she meant head hair but DH reckons she said it while looking at the tummy! Enjoy the Reki.
Puzzled , I hope Elvis leaves the building soon!!!
Kira, congrats on V day! Am very jealous of your sleep!
Winnie, I have to not eat or drink before bed, and sleep on lots of pillows so I'm nearly upright, but it works!
Twinkle, sending you labour vibes, and I'm having the same clothing panics as you! I've washed lots of new born things and now think they won't fit! Am going to get on washing everything later today, even the random 2-3 years baby grow!
Blue Monkey, sorry to hear about your mum but good luck with the flat :0)
Mancbird, you need a rich friend who can lend you a chopper for labour!
Delain, that sounds like a faff, fingers crossed they induce you!
Gilly, sounds like you're one of (if not the) nearest, sounds like a good idea paying for a taxi rather than worrying about parking fees! Are you tired? I sometimes feel wonky if I'm really really tired.
Kandy, that is crap. Hope your results are ok and DS2 recovers quickly.
Thanks all for your washing powder/parking/hospital distances answers, interesting to see there's so many of us that have always used one brand because of skin. I'm really hoping we get on OK with the tesco own because at the rate we're washing it saves about £100 a year! (We're about 15 miles away and about 20-40 mins traffic dependant.)Bump due 22nd September0 -
well 3 weeks till due date today, whoop whoop
feels a bit like baby has gone lower down as when it moves i really feel it down below anyone else or am i just being strange lolnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
I'm not tired no, but I did get up with a jump, bins get emptied this morning, and we have a shortage in our street, so I panicked thinking it was later than it was and someone would have stolen our bin. We spray painted in shocking pink with big love hearts all over, so hopefully not.
The hospital is scarily close, but means I can stay at home until the last minute, hopefully, I don't like hospitals one little bit.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hope you feel "straight" again soon, I love the sound of your bin!!!Bump due 22nd September0

Also, how far do people live from the hospital in minutes by car or foot or bus?
Finally, noticed people were discussing washing powder earlier. Does anyone use anything other than fairy?
I dont use fairy it makes everyones eczema flare up. we have tesco vaue or asda smartprice.. and the babies have tesco non-bio..
We are about 5 minute drive from the hospital.. or 3 hours walk for me at the moment.. though given the option I am not going there. squeak is a her friends birthday party on Saturday in Leeds so I am kind of hoping to be dropped off there lolWonder_Womble wrote: »Ours is in the city centre so it is even more expensive to park outside the hospital, and of course there is no free parking unless you are a permit holder.
Ours is too.. but there is always somewhere if you know where to look!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
