I'm 23+6 according to my ticker on another forum lol

Glad to hear all's OK Lozzy, even if you are still waiting!

Babys movements are getting stronger all the time now, it's all getting a bit scray, sort of harder to pretend it isn't really happening :o

i'm 39+3 today, woke up this morning with backache and strong period like pains, eeeek!
Littlelegs made me laugh this morning, she came in my bedroom, looked in the cot, looked at my belly, sighed and walked out. She then was talking on the phone to my mam and said "i dont think mummys got a baby really cos i've been wishing it'd come out, i think she's just fat" :D kids eh?
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

    Im 24 exactly today. :-)

Baby is very active most of the time and i can now see my bump move, particularly when it hiccups and the bump bounces! Cant wait for my hubby to get back from work. I was 23 weeks when he left and nothing was really feelable from the outside and when he gets back i'll be 27 weeks. I sent him a bump picture this morning. I think my tummy is now at its maximum before the stretching begins and i took out my belly button piercing this weekend. I love having a bump, i find myself stroking it during the day without realising!

Aren't they wonderful? One of the twins asked a random PG lady at a bus stop why she was so fat when they were younger, I was a bit horrified to say the least - fortunately the lady saw the funny side and explained!

i haven't even got to that stage yet and i'm 38+3

i need to sleep!!!! i hate waking every 2 or so hours to either wee, turn over or stop my legs hurting!!! it then gets to a certain stage in the mornings where i can't get back to sleep, yet i'm snoring(!!!!) and disturbing myself  i blame the husband as i know he's laying there awake as he's giving off his "i'm awake so you should be too vibes". when he does that i can only get back to sleep once he's b*ggered off to have a S**t!!!!! god knows why he can't just do that as soon as he wakes!!!

and to top it all i've got the mother coming to annoy me today!

    rant over!
  • 25+2 today and ....... I get a surprise each time I look in the mirror and see this bump.

The marks I spotted yesterday which then mysteriously disappeared, so I thought it was pressure marks from my jeans, well they are back this morning and there hasn't been anything pressing on my tummy. I think it is the start of stretch marks so now I feel like a right lard @rse and am off for a good bubble :o and I'm hungry despite already having had breakfast :(

WW it's not the end of the world... I have so many stretch marks (not just on my tummy, I put on over 4st with DD1) that when she was little I looked like a tube map.

Now I don't even see them, they have faded to little white marks :)

  • 40 weeks today! thanks for all kind thoughts - hopefully I've managed to avoid stretchmarks so far - thank you mummy for my lovely greasy skin - had to come in useful at some point.

Thought I might have had my first twinges yesterday, backache type pain but all low and in the front with belly super hard but that eased off last night and I've had nothing since. Baby has been very quiet, just little wriggles here and there but nothing to worry about - just needs its rest before the big day. Going across town tonight to go to a friends for dinner - hesitated confirming until yesterday but don't feel anything yet so will risk it. they have a seven week old so really looking forward to holding her and imagining the reality!

I'm finding the days dragging now so am trying to give myself specific targets to pass the time. Today I've had to phone BT (my phone line is dead today of all days!), do a proper shop to fill fridge and my belly and locate some bungs for our sofa legs - we've had the sofa for 5 years as a second from a very posh shop and haven't been bothered to chase down the broken legs yet (its been sat on magazines for a year to stop it scratching our stone floor).

Also got an invite for a friend's baby shower next month so have to think what I would have wanted. Seems weird thinking of that when I'm quite so rotund myself. Good thing is at least by then I shouldn't be the biggest in the room!

Hoping all are enjoying their pregnancies now and PP don't you go too early again now you've packed your bag!

good luck Lozzy and Kellpea and our 39 weekers - looks like our babies will be the oldest in the class after all xx
    team yellow :)
Can't wait to meet you now baby!

    congratulations on viability :j

I have lots of stretch marks now, the first ones were the scariest, now i am either ignoring them, waiting for them to go away or being philisophical, i have been speaking to OH about another tattoo when Elvis arrives but the more i think about it these streatchmarks are the marks Elvis will leave on my body forever so im kinda not hating them so much at the moment.

Plus im normally only ever seen in a 1 piece as i have never had a bikini body and as long as OH can put up with them i can pretend they arent there :rotfl:
