lol PP I wish I wanted to tidy mine. We've been in all day because it keeps looking like rain, kids have gone a bit mad, and I'm just looking at the mess and wishing it would all go away!

Two of them are goining off for a few days tomorrow afternoon, and I want to get tidy before then, need a few more uniform bits I forgot, gonna be a nightmare :(

Two of them are goining off for a few days tomorrow afternoon, and I want to get tidy before then, need a few more uniform bits I forgot, gonna be a nightmare :(

I managed to get another pile sorted in my room.. books on shelves where they should live, clothes for Squeak to grow into boxed etc.. and a couple of christmas presents stashed. I have a couple of yankee candles from the Debenhams sale to throw in too. :D

My bedroom is starting to resemble a room rather than a shed... or at least MY side is.. (oh side is a swamp of gibble rubbish and detritus..) and wish I could say the same for the landing!!!

Well I got the hospital bags packed eventually.. took all of 5 minutes.. the sign I have done it a few times before maybe? I packed an extra one with extra stuff in case one or both of us are incapable of leaving.. though I think I would discharge myself if my limbs were hanging off lol. I need to fling clothes for me and a coat for the baby into the car seat for coming home.. other than that I think all is sorted now.. oh.. crib mattress to buy tomorrow.. and.. the newborn insert for the car seat needs locating... cant be far off can it I only used it a year ago.. I think I just remembered where it is while typing..

  • eeeek I'm a boldie tomorrow!

Posting from OH's iPhone so got to keep it short. Can't believe we're here but am starting to get fed up of the uncertainty about when baby will come, what's going to happen during the birth, when my mum and dad should come down and what on earth we're going to call baby... At the moment it's going to be stuck with Rex be it boy or girl.

Had a really lazy day and so has baby. Probably good to get some rest. OH is back in work tomorrow so we've had to discuss when he should come home... Decided that once any contractions are regular and about half an hour apart. He's only half an hour by bike so should be ok. Hoping to sleep better tonight - only managing an hour between rolling over wakes. Hoping that being super emotional is a sign something will happen soon x

Got to make my sister's b'day card now... I guess baby isn't going to be her birthday treat after all xx love to all

Can't wait to meet you now baby!

Id get a snowsuit.. it will be needed for hideous things like.. going to buy food... *shudders at the thought of a supermarket*

Oh the thought of it makes me feel quite ill  I hate food shopping at the best of times, especially Christmas, never mind doing it whilst heavily pregnant or with a newborn :eek:

has that been used successfully as a defence. Not guilty as i was pregnant and the stoopid bleep wouldnt give me the last whatever or the stoopid bleep wouldnt get out my way fast enough, or just they annoyed me by breathing. it should be a valid defense :D

I think we will be doing ours online, just in case!

I thought I was getting a stretch mark today, but it turned out to just be a pressure mark from my jeans - PHEWF!!

I'm amusing myself by watching old episodes of OBEM which I had missed, on 4OD.

AND .... highlight of the day ... I've just seen my bump move for the first time ever. Obviously I've felt kicks and movements but this is the first time I've seen it move :D

You know if you have a planned caesearian (sp?) how much in advance of your due date do they take you in?

  • Been having some really random pains over the last few days, in the area of my right bum cheek, but not fleshy, more nervy or like someone's stuck a needle deep inside my cheek! Has been fine all today when we have been out, but have come home and sat on sofa for a bit and then it kicked off. Hard to put much weight on it when it hurts which gets annoying. Dunno what it is but I hope it goes as quickly as it came.

In other news, DS came back today after a few days at my parents', he had a good time and we had a nice rest. He goes 2/3 times a year and is still happy to go so I'll keep sending him! He's 7 now so thinking he'll be about 10/11 when he decides he doesn't want to go which means we'll get a year or 2 of him going as well as the new girlie when she's old enough.

It depends on the reasons for doing it.. and where you live 37-39 weeks seems usual.. but they like to give the date a week or so in advance.. and you get to chose your babys birthday!

I am now walking like the undead with a melon up its chuff... and using everything I can to take a bit of weight with each step.. it is VERY uncomfortable and makes getting washing out on the line and bac in quite difficult ...

I want to get the waterproof mattress protector on tomorrow.. which may well mean washing the bedsheets.. again...
