I know we are told to worry if our babies don't move a great deal but does anyone worry they move too much?! I have felt this one from very, very early on and it doesn't seem to stop. I'm convinced I have an octopus in there as I seem to feel him everywhere at once! I'm also convinced something might be wrong and he might have epilepsy or something as he seems to have these sort of fits! Tell me I'm being stupid someone please

I did worry a bit at how active mine is but I've had quite a lot of scans due to GD and she has quite often been mental during those and the sonographers have just giggled at her and said that an active baby is a happy baby! My midwife says the same whenever she's chasing her around my tummy trying to get the heartbeat so I don't think it's anything to worry about. Mention it to them though if it will put your mind at rest :)

i'm 39 weeks tom and this little mite never stops, i think i tend to feel her more as were back to back so all arm and leg movements are felt in the front, can be quite painfull as well when she's getting her groove on.
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

I didn't sleep at all last night, as every way was sore and uncomfortable.....

Actively watching clock count down to end of day as I'm now tired and sore! :) The joy.....

Mine moves a little, there's hours sometimes go by before I'd feel anything, then I have a flurry of movement for a bit. I'm halfway to thinking I've a cat in here, as my stomach feels almost like it's purring at times!

Morning all , not had time to read all posts but congrats to all the new babieS born.

Well Reuban is settling in perfect. No idea what his feeding routine is as sometimes he will go 5 hours others it only 2 hours. But he is only waking once at night and sleeps so well. He is very alert and holding his head fantastic and looking around. He is so cuddly and snuggly i can't stop smiling when I look at him. At the Mo he is a real mix of hubby and I.

As for me I'm doing brill, having a few pro with scar but I knew I would as I had dissolving stitches which I had last time and it was a nightmare. However apart from that All is good. I'm of all pain relief and im back in my pre pregnancy clothes although I still feel like a heffer, lol . But I dont care my lumpy bumpy body has produced 4 gorgeous children.

The kids are so in love with rubes . I was little worried about our youngest but he absolutely dotes on him , he is so kind and loving.

Im so in love with our gorgeous baby, still find it all so amazing. Hubby has been amazing he gone to work then come home cleanedhouse ,cooked dinner , done laundry ,food shopping . I am so appreciative . Gonna take hubby out for a meal in a couple weeks as a thankyoU .but im getting back to normal finally .

I am convinced mine has epilepsy too as sometimes he/she seems to move quite a lot in a short space of time, and then nothing for a few hours as if he/ she has worn themselves out! :o

I am shattered today. I should really have a shower and go to Asda but I'm still in my dressing gown and can't be @rsed.

My hips hurt so much today I feel like I have not slept a wink .. :(

    Congrats to the new mummies!!

A couple of mine were superactive and were lovely chilled babies once they escaped... this one is the laziest lump... so I am convinced it is going to be an absolute nightmare child! it has a little wiggle in the morning and again at night and I get maybe 2 or 3 kick about 4pm.. other than that it simply doesnt move.. it is too busy growing I think.. huge great lump that it is!

Bella.. just turn the cold tap on and let it run until clear.. it will just be from the pipe repairs... it just needs to flush through all the pipes and it will be fine.

Congrats laura! Will update the list in a bit.

I asked one of the midwives about it when I saw her last and she said well that's your base point so you know if movements aren't felt there might be a problem. But to be honest I don't have any faith in her at all. She once couldn't find DS2's heartbeat and to say she panicked was an understatement!! She also measured me from half way down my pelvis almost in foof rather than at the top which is what they are supposed to do. But I am concerned cos he just seems to have fits a lot!

Could it be when something has made him jump?

Congrats to Laura and Claire :) lovely to hear baby news!

This baby isn't doing so well for a name still. I like Phoebe but I'm 90% sure OH will hate it. Also she'll end up getting called beebee probably by Squeak, and most of the kids she'll meet up to she starts school, there's a girl in Twin1's class who spent most of reception year being known as 'Banana' (Alana) :o
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o
