Thanks Ecoelle it's nice to know it's not just me!

One of these days I will end up screaming at someone for their comments, itS OK though I can just blame the hormones after :)

Amazing what you can get away with while pregnant ,,

All I keep thinking is if I'm looking small I'm not getting even fatter than I was so should go back to normal quickly, not that I'm bothered about putting weight on as it would be more than worth any extra weight stretch marks or whatever to have my baby at the end of it :)

It's been a long 25 weeks and hoping the next 15 go smoothly, I had bleeds at 5w 6w and 13w but it all seems OK now but was a scary time after 2 miscarriages everything crossed for a healthy baby boy in 15 weeks ish!

Jenjade I know what you mean I wanted an electric one but didn't want to pay £80+ fir one so was going to get a manual as they are a lot cheaper! No need to worry now it's ordered and should be ready to pick up 1st September :)

i have now ordered on to collect from instore.

has anyone used the tommee tippee electric breast pump? is it any good?

I used Avent with my DD 9 years ago but have bought tommee tippee bottles for this baby so wanted the pump that goes with it

I had a reality check today when i nodded off on the sofa and had a really wierd dream that i ended up having a c-section and was in loads of pain and had loads of drugs at the hospital. i just assumed this baby would be the same type of labour as DD1. she was a quick labour no pain relief all very easy... Different dad this time so i guess i will have to wait and see

Thanks so much for the responses. They help lots!!! I have an appointment with the nurse at my new docs a week today and then will hopefully be able to get a booking appointment with the midwife. Will the midwife sort out for me to have the thyroid testing or will I need to get a doctors appointment too?

Whooooo lots to catch up on so I hope I don't miss anything!

Congratulations to Claire and Laura :) you must both be so excited to be having mummy cuddles :)

Welcome to Lisa, this thread is fantastic :)

Wonder Womble, fantastic news at your scan :) you must be feeling very happy :)

Hope claireloo and winnie are getting on ok :)

Hugs to those having kh problems. Hope they get sorted soon!

Hope I haven't missed anyone out!

My OH is painting the nursery at the moment. We have decided to go for lemon walls and have got some cute borders and stickers from b and q. They have farm animals on which is very appropriate for where we live as we are right out in the sticks :) We also got some carpet today and he will lay that next week :) Feeling very excited now it is all coming together :)

I had my 34 week appointment today. I saw the doctor as he has been concerned about my sickness and he was very pleased because I have put on 0.1kg since my last appointment :D Flump is growing well and is currently breech but he said he still has time to move. back again in 2 weeks so he can keep an eye on the sickness.

Sorry this is quite a bitty post, think the pregnancy hormones are turning what remains of my brain into mush!!!

I don't know about everyone else but I find being pregnan a very scary time and other people do not help one bit!!!

Making comments on size is very worrying, everyone seems to think I am small so was convinced baby was not growing :( although when. Saw the midwife at 25+1 I was measuring 26 which is reassuring!

Also I think it is very worrying about movements I started feeling the odd thing at 16w then felt my first real kick at 19w now at 25+4w I have days with lots of movement and they ar hard and then lazy days with very few small movements!

I am sure these are both common worries I just wanted to reassure myself I'm not the only person drivin themselves mad with all of this.

Hi Tink, everyone keeps telling me I'm huge, which doesn't help when a recent scan flagged up possible polyhydramnios.

I'm the same with baby movements, some days he or she is lazy and I hardly get any kicks, but other days I have a very busy belly.

Oooh that sounds like my nursery, we went for lemon paint on the top and mint on the bottom with the farm animals border and stickers from B&Q. You have such good taste :D

The midwife can take your thyroid blood test and send it for testing but mention it before your appointment so she knows.

On another note: I'm going stir crazy here, help! You all know I've had a rubbish time with OH just recently, I stayed at his yesterday and was great, he is meant to be coming over tomorrow - Mon. He's gone out tonight with people from "work" and I'm going stir crazy thinking of what he's up to :-( stupid insecurity and hormones! Trying to sleep but can't :-(

I can't sleep when my OH is out either Mimi, as he usually gets too drunk. He's out tonight and as usual hasn't taken a house key with him, grrr. So I'm left sitting up for him. Grrrr. Sofa isn't comfy for me to nap on so grrr again.
Try not to worry what your man is up to. Very difficult though, esp with mad pregnancy hormones!
