Good luck Claireloo
No news on Winnie?Sorry not PG related ladies....
So, mum had her mammogram recall appointment at the hospital today. Its not really clear to me whats going on, hence posting to see if anyone had any thoughts. So, she was rescreened, checked, and had a biopsy done, and has been booked back in for next week with a consultant, without having got the results yet. I admit i am really quite worried. Surely if it was just a poor initial scan, they wouldnt be rushing her back for a consultant next week, without knowing the biospy results? It all seems very quick and scary..:(
Kira my mam had the same and was seen by the Consultant the following week, as they had the results by then. She got the all clear.
We had another hospital appointment today to look at Eugene's heart.
At the last scan they said they thought he had a hole in the heart, a blockage in his intestine/stomach, wide set eyes, and that I had excess amniotic fluid - all indicators of Down's, which increased our risk from 1 in 31 to 1 in 7. Well at today's scan they could find no sign of any of those indicatorsHeart looks fine, stomach looks fine, eyes look fine, as do my amniotic fluid levels, and nuchal fold measurement is within normal range
So our risk goes back to 1 in 31, obviously we are still high risk for Down's, but so far the signs are good.
My placenta is still lying low so they want to check that again at 32 weeks as I may need a section, but that is not a major issue after all the worry we have had the past 8 weeks.
We got some fab 4D scan pictures and he looks just like OH, he has defo got his mouth. We still didn't find out the sex, much to my family's disappointment, but everyone reckons he looks like a boy.0 -

most reviews are written by those with a gripe so arent a true representation of the real quality.
Ours has been in the washer, the dishwasher, chewed, thrown, stood on, bitten, bounced, flung and generally mistreated and is usually loved to dirtiness.. with no issue.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Thanks ladies
I know we are still high risk, but it is a relief to know his / her stomach and heart are ok0 -
Wonder wobble, great news about your scan!!! Hopefully you and OH can relax a bit more now.
Pigpen and Delain, I don't know how you manage with so many kiddies!! Bedtimes must be traumatic!! I reckon I can cope with 2, but don't think I'll be attempting 3 kids!
I know it's impossible but the sensation/pain I've been getting down below is that a foot or hand is pushing it's way out:eek: not pleasant and impossible to walk normally when its happening. Thank God tomorrow is my last day at work!
