Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Have called midwife and birth centre. They've advised me to call back should my waters go, i have any bleeding or if I just want to chat, so I'm off for a bath and then I'll call DH if the pains are still regular.

I feel really bad letting him go off to work telling him I just had indegestion!
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    oooho, good luck!!!

Dont feel bad, i am sure you would feel worse if this is a false alarm and your DH got worried and stayed off work and lost the day :)

Just make sure you stay in touch with someone and take the phone to the bath with you in case you get stuck!!!!!

We looked at the NCT classes but couldnt justify the cost as much as i wanted to :(

I am going to be asking the midwife about the NHS classes we get though so that we can book in for July :)

We were given a cot yesterday :) its an Ikea cot and is lovely :) We are missing a screw fitting but OH is sure he can pop a replacement in so we are very chuffed and feel very lucky :)

Heartburn is really bad at the moment, im trying to notice what i eat more in case im doing it to myself if that makes sense but everyone keeps saying that Elvis is getting bigger by the day so its probably just having more baby and less room for my stomach.

Debs did you get the results of your GTT? think i missed an update?

    Morning all!

    Keeping my fingers crossed SmlSave.

Just popping in. 29 weeks now and really feeling it. Very tired and struggling with work a bit which is still very busy. My employer is ok, it's the project I'm working on is at a critical point. Because it's so male dominated they would never think to ask if I'm ok and it's down to me to speak up if I'm not. I'm meant to be working another 7 weeks (with 1 week holiday in the middle). Have a fairly quiet weekend this time so if I'm still knackered after a good rest then I might ask to go down to 4 day weeks. My feet are really swelling from sitting at my desk all the time and now my hands have started to go too.

Is anyone else struggling to sleep? I'm so tired but end up lying in bed tossing and turning. Well, more like shuffling and bouncing to try to turn and get comfortable.

Clarieloo - I didn't sign up to nct as thought it a bit expensive but am now having second thoughts but it's too late as they're all booked up now. The main reason would be to meet people so instead I'll concentrate my efforts on finding other ways of meeting new mums. Glad you're finding them useful!

Hoping to go to sainsburys this weekend as saw they have a baby event and lansinoh is down to £5.07 which is probably as cheap as it gets. Have heard it's a lifesaver. Anyone used it?

Good luck SmlSave it sounds like the start of something :j

Lazy day for me, dropped DD off at school, went for a swim and just have a little bit of housework to do - sorting out washing basket and a quick tidy around, have MIL and SIL over for dinner tonight and thats about it!

Tomorrow we are off down to Cornwall for the weekend to go to the Eden Sessions at the Eden Project, fingers crossed the weather holds as it wont be much fun listening to the bands and dancing around in the rain

Have got pretty much everything we need for Peanut now, have deliberately not bought certain things so that family can buy those for us rather than giving us more clothes - have enough new pink clothes to last until she is 21!!

Have a good day all xx
Due 26th July, team yellow :D
