Yes, much better before breakfast than after :rotfl:

I don't 'do' sick very well :o Luckily my kids are fairly lucky and are rarely sick. The smallest one has been the most sickly out of the 3 since birth, which is funny given he was the only breastfed one and they reckon breastfed babies get less illnesses (he also has asthma and the other 2 don't) ;)

He's been fine since, although I can tell he's unwell as he is just lying on the floor under his cover dozing on and off. He's just asked for a bath so hopefully that might perk him up a bit.

Right, I need to tackle the ex-H about the arrangements for the kids this weekend given that I won't be here on Sunday to receive them back, as I will be in hospital :D:D:D this should be fun!!!

I'm shattered. No idea why as I wasn't this tired in my first trimester. Midwife tomorrow so will ask about iron levels.

This thread moves so quickly it is hard to keep up so sorry for my impersonal replies.

Just a question is anyone going for a hypnobirth?

    hi everyone...

I've added Kellpea and *twinkle* to the list... very excited as you're practically my bump buddies

I've also been feeling back pain and cramps from yesterday - hoping its just general aches as they did ease after a bath/hot water bottle but will check with midwife on monday - had leucocytes in urine so might be a UTI - not got any other symptoms so will wait and see I guess

got to get on with work so better get on x

    Morning ladies :)

I need to ask personal question-TMI- has anyone had very swollen lady bits? Over the past few weeks I've noticed that a lot of blood seems to be flowing down there, and a lot of the time are quite swollen around the outside (no itching, nasty discharge or anything). Now this is great for my sex life (as i feel turned on a lot of the time) but is quite annoying the rest of the time! Is this normal? I can't remember from my last pregnancy.

I have majorly swollen lady bits! :o I swear I can feel it when i'm stood up  nice to know i'm not the only one!

Back and hip pain still there am keeping dosed up on paracetamol it seems to take the edge off a little, its better when i'm at home and I can have a rest then I go back to work and i'm on my feet all day its agony again, gonna see how I get on the rest of the week then maybe ring docs see if they'll just give me a sick note, no point taking up an appointment when they've already told me theres nothing they can do :(

On a brighter note going away on monday for 4 nights cant wait will be so nice to have a change of scenery :)

Well, an interesting day so far!
Husband has had a bad day at work, which follows a bad few months of problems there but he has battled on and busts his butt for the place and because he has picked up on someone else not doing things right, he is now the bad guy. Now he is determined to find another job and I need to help find things since he is so busy with work and uni. Just what is needed weeks before my due date lol. He works so hard but he just gets a load of rubbish back, its ridiculous.

Had to call in to work today as my wages have been wrong for the last few months so was sorting that out. Pick up my new pay slip and it has my holiday form attached. They have me booked in for holiday time during my maternity leave... uh just how on earth would that work?! So no wonder my last wage was wrong as they have them on the wrong date!

My Mum has had a little kiddy placed in her care. Around 9 months old and seems to need constant attention! Today he was on the floor.. he whined, in his pushchair.. whined, in his bouncer.. whined, in his car seat.. whined. I was thinking what am I letting myself in for :D She just needs to get his routines sorted I think as he is all over the place right now. Not sleeping through the night at all and seems to be needing a lot of milk but we realised he hasnt been getting enough scoops so the poor thing was hungry! And he hasnt been getting the right food as they said he doesnt like the food with bits in so keeping him on 4month jars! Has only been a few days so its tricky but she has done it before, Im just not there to help this time so much. Its nice to go and get in some practice though before my baby comes lol.

  • Saw the local MW today for a checkup following my little breakdown last week. :o

    I'm 34 + 4 but measuring at 40.

The head has definitely dropped too so maybe my suspicions of being 37 weeks (by my last period) rater than 34 (12 week scan estimate) are correct.

Anyway i'm due a scan tomrrow at the aau, it could just be the case that Harrison has grown alot since my last scan 3 weeks ago due to the diabetes (my sugar levels have been a bit erratic of late). :o

I awoke today with stitch type pains that have eased slightly but not completely stopped, the MW said it's probably my ligaments.

She seemed concerned by my cough though & wants me to have an asthma review.

I'm feeling calmer in myself & haven't cried for a few days now which has to be a good thing so hopefully I won't have to go back on my meds quite yet. :A

I hope all you lovely ladies are well apart from all the usual pregnancy niggles.

Huge labour vibes to anyone who needs/wants them. :A
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
