    Smlsave good luck!

Lirin sorry he is being a pain, you'd think there was thousands of pounds at stake over the slight shade variation...

Last day today and so tired, still feel relaxed and have done as much as I can in terms of training me thinks.

Congrats on the new car MrsSpendalot! I have the 5 seater renault people carrier and it's great. The 7 seater is only a little bit bigger so it'll be dead easy to drive. I want one!!

That's good to know! We were all cramped in a small Kia Cerato up until now, and I was worried that we wouldn't even fit the pram in the boot, which is a worry I won't have with this new beasty of a people carrier .... the boot is a great size even with all 7 seats in place, and if we really want we can remove one of the seats and store it.

Is it daft to be nervous about my sweep tomorrow? :o I've never had one before and have no idea what to expect 'discomfort' wise. I know it will be nothing compared to labour pains, but at least for those you can be out of it on gas and air :rotfl:

    Good afternoon ladies. :)

Good luck and labour vibes to smllsave - how exciting!

We didn't go for the nct classes either. We looked at it and ummed and arred but decided against it in the end. My main motivation was also to meet new mums but there is a baby group not far from me that I'll join and as I'll only be off work for about 4 months I thought I might not get much time to keep the contact anyway. Glad it's been worthwhile though.

I'm also 32 weeks but I dont have another check up till 34 weeks. I think they're stretched for midwives down here.

It's funny looking in the diary at things and thinking OMG I'll be a mum by then!

I'm not sleeping well either and looking forward to finishing work but there's another 4-5 weeks to go.

Operation nursery is going sooooo slowly. DH is being pedantic and giving it his all but I'm desperate to get in there and start organising. I've been banned from helping. We've just started sorting the rest of the house out but like others, it's been something I've wanted doing for ages!

A couple of friends of friends have had babies recently and there seems to be a trend of biggys! Scarey stuff!

Ooh - is that the nipple cream? Usually £10 odd?

Yes. Cheapest I've seen it. I'm sure I've seen someone say it's a good idea to use it from the start rather than once you become sore. Worth a go for £5. Even if BF doesn't work out I'd rather be prepared.

Mrs S I have had 3, one worked and two didn't.

TBH I think they only work if baby was coming anyway.

I shouldn't worry too much, if it doesn't work I'm being induced on Sunday anyway so it's not like I have to wait very long. It would be just nice if it started me off a bit more naturally. I won't get my hopes up too much, and to be honest, at least it gives them an opportunity to examine me and see how favourable my cervix is for the induction anyway.

    Can't believe I'm nearly there :D

Woohoo well done. You've certainly had a tough time with spd and signed off work etc. I'm sure a few weeks ago you wouldn't have expected to get to 39 weeks. I bet it'll be worth all the suffering. xx
