Hello Ladies, hope all is well.

Joshua is now 10 days old, hes managed so far to make us smile, make me cry and then make us burst out into hysterical laughter by shooting poo a metre across the floor whilst being changed (I told mother to leave the nappy alone!!!).

The burning sensation and stinging when weeing is fading, still there a bit!

He is also latching on now (well a total of 3 times) with nipple shields but they HURT as his mouth isn't big enough to latch on properly so my nipple is being chewed. So still expressing but just trying to get him used to the breast.

I do have a question, I have a mamas and papas newborn car seat (isofix thingy) however it is too big to fit into Fluffys little ford fiesta! Hes taking me home next week for 2 days (argh nervous) and its just not going to work baby being in that car seat. Are they all as big? Its the distance from the back seat to the back of his seat that is the problem. Can anyone recommend an affordable alternative.

my support band is AMAZING, im not giving it back either once ive had the baby, the pressure it puts on my back helps releive the worst of the pain and its heaven. i do get the odd funny look as i cant wear mine directly on my skin, need to wear it over my trousers as otherwise it irritates the heck out of me.

Thank you, I didn't want to buy and find out it was useless, but the later on the day gets, the more uncomfortable and painful I'm starting to feel.... Will go look at some now.

Boots are selling them half price at the moment.

I ordered one last week (you can collect it free from your nearest boots) along with a few odds and ends, but i haven't really worn it yet. It feels great when i stand/walk but too tight for sitting down in the office all day. I have planed on using it for walking DD to school and back, as it's walking that i'm struggling with now.

I had one with DD1 same as that.. neither use nor ornament and made me very very sore because however tight it was fastened it rubbed terribly on my sides. The crispy velcro was also on the wrong bits to I had that scratching my tummy too..

My hips being an issue anyway it made them feel like red hot pokers were in my sockets rather than bone.

I had severe sciatica with her.

There is also this style.. which I cant quite bring myself to try
