I've been in maternity tops and dresses since about week 10, due to my hugemongus and ballooning bazooksas. I'm mainly still in normal trousers, but thats just cos my belly is large anyway so bean can hide in it without needing much extra space, so i cant feel virtuous about it.:(

My new car has gone caput this morning. Cant drive it. Loan car not arrivied. There is no shopping in the house, i've had nothing to eat since last night, and i'm HUNGRY! The nearest shops are too close for there to be a bus i can take, but far enough that i wont make it there and back on foot with bags. Not sure i can justify takeway pizza again- which we had to have last night, as no food in, and Hubby got home too late to go food shopping with me.

  • hm I've been in Mat clothes for a few weeks now - well, just trousers lol tops im just wearing vest tops.

I look fat rather than pregnant :(

Must get a new coat - my normaly one just about fastens lol

weight wise - im now 21 weeks and have put on 10lbs (I'm TRYING to be good and having salad for dinner - with salad cream and raisins of course!)

now eating pickled onions and jalapeño's :rotfl:
  • Pickled onions rock :D

I've also been in maternity clothes for the whole duration *roll eyes* my New Look mat jeans are the only things that still fit me but they are the most uncomfortable things ever so I've nicked DH's joggers. Just as well I don't leave the house anymore really!

Just looking at sheets for the moses basket - will 2 flat 2 fitted be enough? Or should I get 4 of each?
  • depends how often you plan on changing the sheets winnie tbh! DD's bedding gets changed weekly - I assume flumepettes will too unless shes sick etc - 2 should be fine though - if not you can always buy more

Also - how long baby will be in moses basket. If all day and all night i'd get 4. If just at night and nap time then 2. (I've got a baby swing/rocker thing etc for flumpette and a floor mat for her to lay on) plus i figure DD wont actually let Flumpette lay down in her cot/basket for too long without wanting a cuddle lol

Taking me 20 min to eat a box salad!! my jaws aching lol

Winnie.. I just got 4 fitted ones I never use top sheets as they always seem draughty.. the only thing i ever used flat sheets for was swaddling summer babies because a blanket was too warm.

I cheated - I brought a swaddling thing when DD was a baby from ebay:

    Similar but not exact. lol

 no food in the house? Scary! I'd have the empty pram out so i could walk to the shops and carry loads back in it. I can't even carry a handbag without getting stitches across the belly now.
Hope you get the car sorted Kira!

Boke, boke and double boke. I'm sticking with crisps and ice-cream!

I've been in maternity trousers since 10 weeks. But still found only the 'over the bump' styles to be comfortable this time. Also had the horrible realisations that bump was starting to show beneath maternity tops if my trousers slipped a little. Thank goodness for bump bands. 7 more days of work then I can become a slob. :D

I have an uncomfortable feeling that even after baby is born I'll still be wearing my pregnancy clothes. Seriously doubt my pre-pregnancy clothes will still fit me.

i bought pillow cases for the mattress of the moses basket, 2 for 1.49, tried them on for size first cos i'd never thought to use them before, they fit like a treat so i bought 6 in all. :)
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

With DD1 i wanted mushrooms and tomatoes - which doesnt sound too weird - but I cant STAND them. My mum used to have to pick them out if she did a stew when i was younger lol now i love them

I'm loving all pickled things atm lol trying not to put TOO much weight on if I can help it

I dont get bump bands - whats the point?
  • OOO my prams in the shop - mummyness is going to pick it up and store at her house.
