Thanks Lirin and ddebski! I had my first awful BH this morn and I was with my mum who went into panic overdrive despite me assuring her it wasn't the start! She's supposed to be my back up birthing partner but I've just sacked her!! I hope DH is around at the right time!

Is there a new thread? I couldn't see one?

The thread is quite new - think we only make a new one when it's around 500 pages long............??

Think its 5000 posts when we need to make a new one, so we're good for a few more days :D

I was also up at 4am again Bella, its getting really boring now! My back is total agony, its doing my head in! Pain makes me very miserable as poor DH is finding out on a daily basis :(

Blood pressure check tomorrow, just thinking about it is probably pushing it up higher. I'm feeling like crap and my hands and feet have started to swell so I'm fairly sure its going up. Ah well, just something else to add to the list I guess!

Also my BH's are getting more regular and a lot stronger and I have a very, erm, achy foof. Oh blah. Just want my baby now, had enough of pregnancy!

I am now a firm convert to memory foam, amazing stuff. I wake up sore if I sleep anywhere else now :o I am quite chuffed with it, another ebay special, cost less than a cheap sprung one from argos.

I got a memory foam topper for our concrete mattress which helped loads with my arthritic hips and knees...
One other reason I hate staying at his mothers is the beds are like sleeping in blancmange... I hate blancmange.... My back and hips are soooo painful I cant walk in a morning when we stay there it takes a few pills and a few hours to get moving.

I'm a memory foam convertor too. Never had a twinge of back pain until my first pregnancy and then after DD arrived my back was terrible. The OH eventually replaced the old mattress with a super hard new one (without letting me test it - silly man!) and it was even sorer on my back than the old one (how cross was I!!!:(). However a nice think memory foam mattress topper made a massive difference, and when i got pregnant this time i got him to buy a bigger bed, with a sprung mattress with built in memory foam. Have to say it is divine. The OH thinks it's too soft and doesn't like it (do I care?), but for me it is BLISS! And I am sleeping really well this pregnancy. (inbetween the frequent trips to the loo)
    I'd definately recomment one Mirrorimage.

    GOOD lUCK JCR!!!!

Labour vibes to Doglover and Claireloo

    Glad you are discharged Bella

I was supposed to go to court today as a witness against the drunk driver who drove into me and DD head on last year. But I heard last night that they have accepted my evidence and i don't have to attend. Fantastic!! Cos if i saw the [STRIKE]ba$£ard [/STRIKE] guy I might get all hormonal and lamp him. :rotfl:

Popping on to say Good Luck to Jcr today - can't wait for your announcement. :j

Also, Happy Due Date to Doglover! With Jcr leaving us today that can only mean one thing - I am next lol!!!

Puzzled - Happy first day of maternity leave :T

Well I thought something might be happening last night. Had quite noticeable (but not too painful) cramping when I went to bed and then at about 5 this morning I woke up with the same thing. But of course, its gone completely again now. But for the first time in nearly 4 weeks of maternity leave I am actually looking forward to a day in the house, not seeing anyone or doing anything much at all. This is quite unlike me so I wonder if I'm subconsciously retreating into my little nest ready for LO's arrival. Either that or I'm just so knackered I CBA to do anything else :rotfl:
Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T
