LoL... ours is a superking bed as OH is so huge he sleeps diagonally in everything else.. and I STILL hog the bed.. all 5ft 3 of me lol.. he squeezes in every night.. good job he is only skinny... I dont move easily either esp. at the moment when it hurts lots to move... Im no lightweight eiher :p

I love my bed. We stayed with OH's mum recently and just sitting on the bed there seemed like sitting an a trampoline!

I am now a firm convert to memory foam, amazing stuff. I wake up sore if I sleep anywhere else now :o I am quite chuffed with it, another ebay special, cost less than a cheap sprung one from argos.

Not that I need to feel that good about the bed lol I could spend 16hrs a day asleep as it is!

I got a memory foam topper for our concrete mattress which helped loads with my arthritic hips and knees... and I am a dormouse and can sleep for days waking only to pee and grab a drink.. I thinkmy record was 5 days when I was ill once but 3 is about my limit when I am well... right now.. I can manage a couple of hours if I am lucky.

One other reason I hate staying at his mothers is the beds are like sleeping in blancmange... I hate blancmange.... My back and hips are soooo painful I cant walk in a morning when we stay there it takes a few pills and a few hours to get moving.

Well I've just got into bed and my DH has just got into his bed - a single carp mattress on the floor! Last night was such a disaster sleep wise that's he's trying this for me. Bless.

Or they spread out like a starfish and shunt you over to the side of the bed so you're struggling to sleep on 3 inches of bed....

I think you're both confusing my OH for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OH has suggested we do this if things don't improve soon :(

WW DH suggested it quite a while ago and I kept saying no but now, having had a great (pregnancy allowable) sleep I wish I'd said yes much sooner! Poor DH doesn't feel as good this morning but it made a huge difference to me.

    Morning all!

JCR - good luck with today :)

Went to antenatal to see consultant, they have discharged me to midwife now just to have BP and urine checked once or twice a week (at there discretion) hopefully it will stay ok and I wont have pre eclampsia again dont think I could cope being away from DS days on end so fingers crossed all is well at the moment. Have to increase iron tablets so now on 2 a day yuck

Been up since 4:30 again, kitchen is cleaned, dishwasher loaded, washing nearly done :) feeling very tired now though :( not leaving the house today i've decided :)

My mums friends daughter gave me a bin bag full of newborn and 0-3 month clothes! they are lovely like brand new :) have washed the whites/lights so may iron those today, then just the dark coloureds to wash and iron, delivery came from mothercare yesterday so moses basket mattress, steriliser, bottles and blankets are now sorted plus bought maternity pads. So still to get

    Newborn teats for bottles
    breast pads
    dummy's
    2 nighties for hospital
    some new slippers
A bag to take to hospital

I think that is it :) starting to get nervous about baby coming now, but excited all the same :)

    xx

morning all, hope every one is doing ok,

im not sure if i uncomfortable in bed because of the baby (by the way i sleep on my right side less painful) or is it because i need a new mattress, i bouht quite a good one but i just realised it was 7 yrs ago, how time flies lol think i may invest in a topper memory foam for now

had a nice day yesterday, mine and hubbys anniversary so he came home early from decorating the rental property and we took the boys bowling and snooker for a few hrs, loveliest anniversary meal i have had onion rings and cheesy chips all in mayo yum (althoug the thought of it makes me quessy now lol)

midwifes and blood tests today bah humbug but my brother is taking the boys fishing for me as i cant last that long lately with out the need to pee so once i drop them all of i will have a couple of hrs well to do nothing. (must get some motivation going)

hope you all have a good day. x

    Jc, good luck today!
    Puzzled, enjoy maternity leave.... :)

My boss (the nice one) is asking me a few times daily if I feel okay.... His wife is a month ahead of me and has had a few complications, I've had relatively little. I'm not enjoying the feeling at all around my stomach- so so stretched feeling.... I feel like I've eaten a months supply of steak.

I'm a bit shuffly today- my back is sore and I keep turning my ankle! But, teamed with huge eyes, all the guys working with me are bringing me tea and coffee..... :)
