Foam rules
Ours is quite rock solid at first but it moulds to your shape and it's lovely
Bit disconcerting though to get up and see just how much I must weigh because of the sheer size of the dent in it
but it all pops up again durning the day.
I had a disturbed night's sleep again in spite of Squeak sleeping fine, a combination of coffee before bed, bad idea, and tummy pain that I suspect was probably wind, but it went away so I'd imagine it was me being vile in my sleep last night!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Well I thought something might be happening last night. Had quite noticeable (but not too painful) cramping when I went to bed and then at about 5 this morning I woke up with the same thing. But of course, its gone completely again now. But for the first time in nearly 4 weeks of maternity leave I am actually looking forward to a day in the house, not seeing anyone or doing anything much at all. This is quite unlike me so I wonder if I'm subconsciously retreating into my little nest ready for LO's arrival. Either that or I'm just so knackered I CBA to do anything else :rotfl:
Ooh - I hear that you become quite anti-social before labour starts........... Good luck!!
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Hope it is a sign of labour for you claire, I'm antisocial already I'd have to barricade myself in my bedroom to be any more so :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Yeah I hear you there! Litterally nothing fits anymore. Even my maternity jeans have started to dig in which can only mean one thing....I am getting fatter and I don't just mean the bump is bigger!Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

I can so identify with that!
This time i intend to go and get myself a couple of pairs of comfy joggers from somewhere just so I won't be in the same clothes I've spent months in when I get homewhich says something because I really hate jogging bottoms.
OH did buy me some clothes last time when I was in hospital, but he bought a 16 and was suprised when they didn't fit me, immediately post birth lol. I suppose I should be pleased he obviously thinks I'm thinner than I am
He did tell my friend the other day that I'm a size 14, which is a long distant memory :rotfl: he recenty did get me some things in a 16 and they were quite close fitting so I don't know where he gets his ideas fromMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Ok, I have my day planned out and you'd better make sure you're sitting down when reading it because it's exciting stuff!!?
I'm going to have a shower, stick a wash on, iron the last 2 pairs of trousers I didn't do yesterday, re-pack my hosp bag (don't really know why!), ring the tens hire people to say I'll need it longer and see the midwife. OMG what a boring cow I am!!
Claireloo I do hope things will start for you soon. I'm hoping (didn't think I'd say that!) that my one will wait another day or so to give DH a chance to catch up on some sleep. He's just as grumpy as me without sleep!
I still feel sleepy now so I may go wild and slot a snooze into my day!
DH asked me a couple of days ago if I'd done a hospital bag!! !!!!!!?! He knows I have! I'm assuming it must be seeming real to him (thank god!).0 -
