I just spoke to the midwife who is coming to do a check and I mentioned I wanted to go for a walk and she said not to as I'd lost a lot of blood and obviously still am. I hadn't realised 1000mls was a lot of blood to lose straight away! I must have halved my blood

Hello all again.

Finally got a few mins to update.

Well, we've decided that my little bundle is called Zara. She is adorable!

Congrats to Abby and Sequeena too!

I'm not going to do a birth story. It wasn't the best....38hours which ended in forceps delivery - but she is worth it....and yes abby my bits feel like I'm being kicked in the regions constantly! I had to have an episotomy and I tore too, so sitting down can be a challenge.

Can't believe she is almost a week old, crazy.

Must dash, vibes and hugs to those that want them!

oh well done to all our new mummies and babies!
I'm really excited now....

First day of mat leave and super nesting instinct is kicking in - morning of washing and ironing whilst living room ceiling was being plastered. Then a cheeky twister from the corner shop and onto sorting out wardrobes.

Met a lovely new mum at my SiL's apartment pool so I've now got someone to have round for coffee etc as all my friends live quite far away.

I'm off now to tackle my hospital bag and wardrobe - hope the weather holds out to dry pram liners x

I dont know what beanie is doing to my stomach (burrowing?), but i'm not happy. I feel hungry, and have only managed half a sandwich ( no crusts and it took 90 minutes to finish it), a small apple, and a wee yoghurt all day today, but it feels like i ate a fry up and an 8 course lunch and i cant bear the thought of eating. Not acid indigestion, or heartburn, just feel uncomfortably full and stuffed.
Pah. If its already like this at 20 weeks, lord knows what i'll be like by the end. I think maybe i prefer the puking.

Abby, congrats on baby Joshua, he is uber cute! And i love the name! How lovely that fluffy is going with the flow with the "dad" label!

We're having a girl!!!!

DD is very excited! OH wanted a boy but he says he's happy lol Struggling for Girl names now though but we have 20 weeks (:eek:) to decide.

Had 2 scans today - First one showed a low placenta, second one showed it was all ok so big sigh of relief.

Unfortunatley whilst we was in there I saw one of my friends - very upset - in the ultrasound waiting room. Didnt go up to her at the time as she was talking to the doctors but later found out she has lost her baby (12 weeks - she never told any of us she was expecting)

I'm planning on surprising OH with a candle lit meal soon - DD is off to my mums (hopefully!) but I'm struggling to find a nice dress that makes him go "wow" - They're all very Mumsy! Has anyone seen anywhere? x

Yes - wasnt a nice way for her - Esp as her boyfriend works abroad so i was worried she was on her own but im probably the last person she wants to see right now.
