This one doesn't disturb me yet, because of the anterior placenta according to the sonographer.

You want to try having two in there, feet in the ribs and in the cervix all at once!

Honestly once I had such a fierce kick I genuinely looked down expecting to see a foot sticking out :o It was like they were wrestling or something.

I have an anterior placenta too apparantly- I've only really started feeling Hitchhiker this week. I've felt a few moderate kicks I think, only a couple have made me jump....

Maybe they are wrestlers. :) There's plenty of twins and siblings in wrestling! :rotfl:

morning all, ive got one very active baby today, i cant make out what is a foot, hand, head or bum tho, She is giving it some serious welly this morning :)
Only 26 days til i'm due and the lack of sleep at night is starting to kick in, i just cannot get comfy, no matter how hard i try, i know once she's here i wont be sleeping much anyway but i'll at least have the option of handing her to family and laying down on my belly, which is a sure fire way for me to nod off! walking is becoming a bore too, as soon as i set off anywhere i get a stitch then the pressure down below gets a bit much at times too, i walk as tho i've ridden the grand national, lol.
i'm at a birthday bbq this afternoon so hoping the weather stays dry, theres a humongus cloud just loitering and you just know as soon as u get the bbq lit, it's gonna pee it down!!! (fingers crossed)
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

I have felt this little one from very early on and it doesn't stop! Wriggles and kicks all day long. When I wake up in the night he's moving around and kicking too. We sit there in the evenings sometimes and just watch my bump going up and down and watch him rolling around. You can even see it moving from across the room!!!!

jcr - your night sounds like my night. I had terrible backache and cramps before I went to bed and was (according to DH) just moaning a lot in my sleep. Thought (wished) it might be the start of something but feel fine this morning except a bit tired.

Delain - I have an anterior placenta too. Was gutted at the beginning because it was ages before I felt baby kick but now he's a right wriggler and my stomach is constantly on the move. It weirds people out :rotfl:

Blah11 - sorry can't help with the birth pool question but didn't want to ignore you. Hopefully someone will be along with some advice soon

Well the last 2 weeks since I finished work have been pretty filled with meeting people and going places but this week I have nothing at all planned and I hate it. I'm bored now. People keep telling me to rest but I'm not a resting person - I want to go out but I can't coz I have no money and it hurts to walk too far. I need ideas for something to do today...

DS1 moved a lot but not as much as this one and he's very laidback, DS2 hardly moved and is a manic, into everything child! So i'm hoping this one is like DS1!! This one makes me so uncomfortable when he's moving sometimes though as I think he is really stretching out and I have tall boys so it hurts!!

    :j:jOur gorgeous baby boy born 2nd May 2011 - 12 days overdue!!:j:j
  • i've got a right little wriggler too, been feeling it since about 14 weeks :D. i love watching it, but sometimes it really does hurt, it does this thing where it puts it's foot out my side and pushes it's body in the opposite direction, hurts like hell and looks really odd! it also objects to me laying on either of sides at night.... i take quite a beating if i dare even try!

anyone got any tips on how to get it to turn round as we're apparently back to back?

it really freaked me out this morning as it normally wakes when i wake and starts having a right old boogie in there, but not this morning, it kept me waiting quite sometime - the relief i felt when it finally did start hiccuping was immense!

i think my hubby is nesting! he totally stripped out the bathroom yesterday, hoovered, dusted, cleaned, bleached and scrapped the patches of mould off the wall and today he's painting! :rotfl:

congrats to abby and sequeena

getting scarily close to the top of the list now

My DH is 6ft 2 so I think eventually all my boys will tower over me and I'm not short - 5ft 7. DS1 is one of the tallest boys in his class and he's the youngest!
