my OH is 6ft 4 and I just scrape 5ft3.. Squeak towers over most babies her age.. she was 1 last weeks and in 18-24 month clothes.

All my babies were long, up in the 95th centiles for length at birth.

DD1 is hugely tall, in age 9-10/10/11 again depending on shops. Problem is she has long arms and legs, so things that are long enough are often baggy on her.

Twins are in 7/8 so that's about right.

Squeak is in 9-12 or 12/18 months depending on where we shop.

I'm so tired. First night at home (and sleep as I didn't sleep between giving birth at 4.10am and going home at 8pm) and not slept much, he's grizzly because of wind and mucus.

Er the basics of my labour from what I can remember, took 12 hours from twinges to popping. I was induced at 11.30am pains at 4pm, waters broken at 7.20pm (lots of water) and put on a drip eventually. I was on a drip to speed up contractions as I was having three small ones at a time and they wanted them to be big large ones. The first girl cocked it up completely to the point where my right hand is swollen and bruised as the liquid went into my hands, one of my veins on my left is bruised and it wasn't till the anaethist arrived that he managed to do it. Anyway I was on gas and air, tens machine (which ended up being no use eventually) and meptid (had two overall). I spent about 5 hours begging for an epidural and the midwife putting it off cleverly. I was sat on the bed for all of it because I was shattered due to the quick onset. Anyway got to a point probably after 3am that i said I needed to push and i was kept told i couldnt as last time I was checked i was only 5cm. Anyway suddenly I was 7. Then at 4am I decided I had to push and suddenly I was 10cm and then I pushed and pushed and pushed and ten minutes later he was born. So 3rd stage was 10 minute. Anyway I'll remember the bit after that later, I have to go express as Joshua won't latch on and he hasn't fed really at all

Anyone else whos had a baby find it the most painful thing in the world to wee because of the fact that ones labia feel like they've been shredded? At least I think thats why it stings..Its sooo bad.

And thanks, I know hes gorgeous :P not sure why though....doesn't look anything like me. ha

Oh this is Fluffy last night holding him. He drove 60 miles to come spend about half an hour with me and him. And said last night he cant be bothered to keep saying he isn't the father so has given up and is just going with it.
Now he got his practice drive out of the way with his sister (he had been nervous about driving here having passed his test recently) he is going to come up on Wednesday to see us. Which makes me very happy!
