    Good morning!

    Good luck Debs!

Pigpen - I had recurrent thrush during the first 20 weeks or so!! It took me ages to twig and then as soon as I'd kicked it once and for all I couldn't believe the relief! Silly me. I had to order the monitor online FYI but also got a ton of advantage points so made the purchase even sweeter!

I hope everyone has a good day

Pigpen- I'm getting that too- the 'You're huge! You'll be massive when Dec comes!'

Also, weirdly, random strange people seem to have decided it's alright to poke my stomach- I've had it happen a few times now in Asda.

Anderson I watched OBEM USA but I hated it tbh! It seems so medicalised and scheduled compared to here, completely the opposite to how I want my birth to be.

I felt exactly the same, when one of the ladies said she didn't want an epidural the midwife seemed horrified and seemed to be trying to pressure her in reconsidering! It seemed very different to my experience in the UK so I turned it off half way through!

Labour vibes to all that need them, my parents, best friend and sister are all away this weekend so although I'm now 38 weeks my baby has strict instructions to stay in until at least Monday!

Hi Claire, did you fly to France and did you take out travel insurance? If so, who did you take your cover out with?

We booked a holiday in Majorca for September before I got pg, I'll be 29 weeks when we get back and really don't know what level of cover I will need when away.

    TIA

We didn't fly actually - got the ferry. I think I could have flown up to 34 weeks with most airlines but it would have needed a doctors note and we decided the ferry would be easier all in all. That said, a friend of mine who's due 2 days after me is in Majorca this week. Don't know how its gone yet though - will try to find out later this week.

Re insurance - I honestly can't remember who its with but we just tend to do a MoneySupermarket or wherever and see what comes up best. I was worried about the policy covering pregnancy but they all pretty much say the same thing - pregnancy isn't an illness and you should be covered if you have an issue (or go into labour) while on holiday. The only thing they don't cover is if you've had complications relating the pregancy which you knew about before you left. I would say just double check the wording but you should be OK to travel.

Given that I'm having pretty much a Christmas baby, I've just started buying my Christmas presents for this year. I'm sure there'll still be a few things I need to buy for people, but even now the thought of Christmas shopping and me heavily pregnant isn't remotely appealing- plus, there's some good bargains on at the moment!

    morning ladies.

i tried the america obem, and hated it. i'd turned off within seconds. i enjoyed the uk on, even tho i think i cried in every episode.

Well i think i had the worst evening ever yesterday. Braxton hicks started about half 3 and by half 5 i was in so much pain as they just didn't let up, i was getting a few seconds break inbetween that by half 5 i was in bath trying to ease the pain. it sort of worked until i tried to get out:rotfl: but i spent evenign snuggled on sofa croching a blue babies blanket. hubby got an emergancy call out to the hospital about 11 ish and i always wait up for him as i hate going to sleep if he hasn't coem home yet. well i must of fallen asleep as he scared the hell out of me when i heard to kettle go,lol. I must of been shattered.

And then the fun started. we went off to bed, and i got nice and comfy snuggled under my 13.5 tog duvet hubby put arm around me but on top of the duvet ( i wrap up like winter and he strips off ,i can't sleep until snuggled and he getting hot) and well i don't know what the baby was doing, but hubby could feel the movements outside the duvet and for about 20 mins my tummy was like jelly moving all over the place it was so painful i felt sea sick with it. was so biazzre waslike baby was cage figthing or skiping with the umbilical cord. i just don't know.then the braxton hicks started again. by about 1 ish tho, the pain either went or i just simply crashed out:rotfl: i don't know. but that was me gone till 6 , and those 5 hours was fantastic sleep.:ji woke up feeling full of energy and pain free. wow. I'm sure tho i've had a small blood loss only very tiny , but i wasn't really paying attention as i'd just got home from shopping and just nipped to the loo quickly like you do. so i'm gonna just keep my eye on things today . but i've got no pains, no braxton hicks, i've got energy. it is wonderful.

Blimey jcr - you are due around the same time as me and I haven't had any of that sort of thing. Well you don't sound too worried (and have done this all before) so I'm glad you are feeling better today. Keep an eye on the possible blood though and get it checked out if you need to.

Debs hope you managed to keep it down! Keep sipping that water, it helps honestly! hope the results are all clear too!

PP and Doglover - i have never had thrush, to be honest im not even sure what the signs are - should i be looking out for it?

Missy hope you manage to stick to buying just the stamp and enjoy your swim :)

WW and Claire Jealous of your holidays, OH and i held off booking just in case we were lucky so we are off to Yarmouth for the day with the inlaws on the weekend and thats about it for this year, we are starting to think about where to get away to next year though :)

Lirin - my christmas present pile is rapidly growing too, but then we normally buy throughout the year and i am quite looking forward to being able to browse the shops with LO in tow - although reality might be very different lol :)

JCR well done on the energy boost :) Hope it lasts all day, but make sure you dont do too much :)

My heartburn has been really evil these last few days and i have no idea why since what i am eating hasnt really changed at all, i think that now Elvis is 28 + 2 they are taking up more room and that means a crushed tummy for me or im just weird lol.

I am also really, really tired today, have little or no motivation and really dont want to be at work! Only 40 working days til Maternity leave and for some reason that feels like forever!

Sequena how did the check up go?

labour vibes to all that need them and ladies dont forget the
