Sorry Hun, I was hoping you were busy in labour. It'll happen soon.
Thanks for the good wishes for tomorrow. I know I'll be fine after a while but having had no longer than 2 weeks off in 15 years it seems odd. Also I'm a control freak and will be gutted that the whole place isn't going to collapse without me!0 -
well i finished work today :j and i know i wont be bored lol i cant sit still at the best of times so im good at finding things to do
i think fidget has dropped further now my bump has gone really low
garage conversion is nearly done window goes in tomorow plastering should be finished rest of coving up and skirting boards done and i think door is being hung on mon. once they finish we need to decorate and get carpet down and clean rest of house which is covered in dust. iv bought light shades today and im going to order curtains and curtain pole tomorow, then we are going to look at carpets tomorow night and to buy paint. so im not after labour vibes yet i need at least 2 weeks probably 3 lol :rotfl::coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:

Congrats on starting mat leave MSFC. It certainly sounds like you won't have time to be bored! I hope your little one waits around for a while.
Well I have a new alarm clock - it's leg cramp at 5am. Nearly every day this week! I am getting used to living off a lot less sleep so I'd say mother nature has succeeded in her mission (b**ch)!0 -
I seem to be getting over my worry of not knowing how to fill my time, I've started my fave hobby of writing a list (yes I am a loser!). I've got a lot to do at home and I've made some arrangements to meet up with peeps next week too. I reckon it'll feel like annual leave for a while and then our baby will arrive and I suspect that he'll take up some time!!
I've got a voucher for my local salon so will book in for a pedicure some time soon as well. They don't do preg massage otherwise I would have that as well but there should be enough credit left for a massage and facial at some point after my little boy is born.
Every time I walk past the nursery I talk to our baby. How stupid but I'm trying to get used to the room being used. I talk to him a bit now but he never reacts by movement etc. He does seem to have a regular pattern of body curling and stretching out for about 2 or 3 hours each eve from about 6 pm. It hurts a little and makes eating dinner uncomfortable but It's reassuring too.
I wonder how Sequeena is getting on? I hope her and Thomas are tucked up safely having lots of cuddles.
As far as I remember (so not much at all!) it's Abbey and Apricot who are requesting labour vibes and the boldies of course so here are loads for you all. I'll start requesting them in a week or so, so please get them stored up.
Sadly I bumped into a sort of friend last night who miscarried about a month ago. She was still early (about 8 weeks I think) and they'd been trying for nearly 3 years. Devestated can't even describe it. My heartvwent out to them and I felt bad standing there with the largest pot belly known to man.
I'm off for a shower so happy Friday everyone and I hope you all have a lovely day x0 -
Congrats to those starting their maternity leave this week. Only another 17 weeks for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I can't understand people who say they will be bored as I am so tired I literally go to work, then come home and die on the sofa each night0 -
I admit to have done nothing but moan about work and tiredness for the last 6 weeks or so! I can see where you're coming from but I bet you'll find the prospect of stopping work an odd one when it comes. I'm sure it's a very short lived feeling for all of us!0

I've moaned about work too, I think, all the time.... and I'm only getting into the swing of things compared to some of you lot! My nice boss yestarday asked me if I'd work til full term- asked him why? Had to laugh when he told me that after three children already plus one more on the way, he'd quite fancy a chance at delivering a child.....
Hitchhiker has seemingly declared a love for Bob Dylan, Massive Attack, Slayer, Iron Maiden and Obituary. My stomach actually wobbles when any of those are on my stereo- though it may also have something to do with the volume it's outputting at.......
Apricot, big vibes, it'll happen soon! Just wants to be well done.0 -
Lirin I think that'd be taking loyalty to your job too far!0

Hello
How is everyone?
I haven't had much chance to get onto the laptop recently, which is why i haven't come on here for a little while. I'm 18 weeks pregnant now and have my scan in less then two weeksWe're going to find out the sex this time-which i'm excited about.
I still don't have much in the way of a bump though, no one believes me when i tell them how far along i am. My mom and husband notice, but strangers don't. I've definetly got wider-i hope i pop out soon!
Also still not feeling much movement, but i know it's still early days. I'm sure i am being kicked/prodded in the bladder at times-not nice!
