    Sorry in advance.
    Woe is me today.
Been feeling low for a few days now, but today is the worst, hubby has gone away til Sunday and due to him being ill last night we both had no sleep before he went. Was too knackered and too uncomfortable to go to work today so have booked sick, and will stay off for tomorrow's shift as should be on nights Sun and Mon and they killed me last week.
So basically, I'm home alone, lonely, tired but not sleeping, uncomfortable and in pain, haven't got dressed as been trying to nap but just realised I have nothing to get dressed for until Sunday. My usual in case of being a misery guts contacts are dealing with big problems of their own at the moment, and as I haven't actually got a problem other than my own patheticness I can't bring myself to call them.
    Sorry.

Hayley.. are any of us nearby could drag you out for ice cream and cake and coffee? I'm not near anyone so I'm useless!

Paint got for the girls room... :D That is the next job!

We didn't have isofix in the 51 plate focus.. but we do in the hyundai which is labelled too.. They can usually be installed though if you go to the dealers.. they whizz out a seat.. screw in the fixings, put the seat back and voila.. done..... VITAL in a volvo with their 2 inch long seat belts!

Oh.. physio rang.. soonest appointment as an 'extremely urgent case'... 3 weeks!!!!!!! No ta... I'll only have a few weeks left so it is pointless.

Hayley- I'm in NI, so probably nowhere near you, otherwise I'd have you out somewhere now, as I know the feeling you're going through. Will PM you my number, feel free to ring and have a chat- you're always welcome!

It's alright to feel down, happens everyone. It's too easy to get in a funk, I can completely understand. My DH usually knows when I have been down, as I go into a sort of Pigpen-mode (sorry!) and the house gets whatever needs refurbished, replaced, painted etc done.....

Will it work if I'm already, you know, blocked.....I had 4 pints of water I can't understand whats wrong WHYYYYY MEEEE

Yes it will work. I used it after coming home from hospital as I was blocked. I had a half pint glass and filled it half way and this seemed to be a bit too much for me! It definitely got rid of the blockage. :o Sorry, theres no nice way of putting it lol :D

Thank you girlies, your niceness has made me cry! It's a shame there is no real teleport machine, otherwise we could all meet up. It's so nice to be able to come on here though and know someone will understand how you feel.
Normally when DH goes away I do some kind of mass organisation or decorating, however due to the pain I've been getting I've had to promise to take it easy, and to be honest I haven't really got the energy or motivation to do it anyway. And because I was supposed to be working I deliberately made no other plans.

abby.. califig... it is syrup of figs and is best hidden in something edible unless you can stomach such vileness! Avoid eggs etc which bung you up anyway. If all else fails get thee self to the quack for a suppository.. they work too.. :D You may however find it clears very very quickly coinciding with eviction day! ;)

I am really 'bunged up' too and it's driving me mad. I keep meaning to get some of the stuff PP mentioned but I never quite get that far :o

Am chuffed, got a massive watermelon for £2 in Lidl this morning :D I love watermelon but it's usually over £3 for a small one in Tesco.

OH has finally finished DD1's room :T so everyone can stop flaming well moaning at me now (that's my family moaning, not you lovely ladies :o) It's got to dry out but she will be back in there tomorrow. I hope so, because at the moment all three girls are in one bedroom that is 7ft x 13ft  It's only been one night and I'm already despairing of getting any sleep at all til DD1 is back in her room.

At the moment we only have OH's car (4 seats!) and it's too old for isofix. When we get my car after selling the other one, it will still be too old for isofix, I would consider 10 years old to be new by my standards, and I still have to do all the faff with sending off my licence to inform the DVLA that my spinal cord is special, and more lessons, oh and actually passing the test! :o

Is anybody getting a base for the car seat in the car? I have a maxi cosi cabriofix car seat and wasn't going to bother with a base but Im thinking it'll probably be much easier - especially as the seat is going to be used for about 9 months so that's a lot of faffing around with seatbelts!
Yeah I'm planning on getting one, I'm getting the cabriofix as well - I've only got a 3 door car (mini) and there isn't really much room to faff about with seat belts and I think it will generally make life much easier. Though i was going to see how it goes without one first and then decide. They say you shouldnt really use a 2nd hand car seat unless you're certain it's been looked after, I presume the same applies to car seat bases?

edit: just to add there are some offers on for the cabriofix seat at amazon and mothercare for £90.99 instead of £125, but only certain colours

    Thank you
I'd just like to thank everyone, especially those who have PM'd me, feeling much less miserable, am gearing myself up for getting dressed (not bad at 5pm!!!) and sent the in laws a text to see if I can scab dinner with them tonight. Only 36 hours to go!!! Wish I'd posted on here earlier now!

Neighbour has just reversed his car into his house. Not bad enough to damage the house but bashed the car. Numpty!

Thetope - I think bases are ok 2nd hand... The seats are more to do with the internal structure and the possibility of it being broken, (similar to motorbike helmets I believe) where as the bases are solid.
