I just checked on the main internet banking page, that you get when you log in and the button is blue saying "Upgrade Today"
When you click on that button I get the option to upgrade to Silver, it tells me I have Classic With Vantage at the moment.
Right down the bottom there is a button to "compare with other accounts" on that screen I get the option to "upgrade now" (in green) to all the value added accounts right up to platinum.
It seems you have to click through on a few screens to get to upgrade to platinum. I'm told I'm eligible for Platinum on the phone, but don't need it so wont test that out any further :-)0 -
I have rung up Lloyds and I am not eligable for any upgrades, he said that is why I do not get the option. When I compare as you said I can compare it but no option to upgrade. Hope this helps anyone else, he also said they update it monthly at around the 20th of each month.SwagBucks Challenge: 402/849

I have just looked into vantage, as I'm a student I only work part time so do not earn £1000 a month, which means I would not get the higher interest rate. Do you think I could still add it to my account incase I do overtime and do make £1,000 a month? After reading the terms it says if you do not pay in the money you will not get the rate, but I do not see anything that means I would be disqualified or penalised for taking it out.

You would be able to add it, if you don't pay £1k or more in they will just pay the lower interest, so you wouldn't be penalised.0 -

The easiest way to find out your internal score is to ask them. they regularly monitor your account and based on your account conduct assign you a score. They can give you a fairly good idea of overdraft limits, loan rating, account eligibility and limits for new credit cards.0

Depends on who you ask, some don't give it out. I've asked phone bank to confirm internal score before and they have said they cannot give it out or do not have access to it. The latter I some how doubt.
Go into branch and have a chat to the adviser and they'll tell you though.0 -

You just do not earn the vantage rates for the month that you do not put in a total of £1,000. If you did then you get the vantage rates for that month.
The £1,000 could be cycled through the account from another source in Lloyds so does not have to be new money.0
