aside from all the idiots and wannabe detectives on here if you firmly believe that the decision is wrong and that you have an entitlement to dla of course you should appeal, we can all sit here and make assumptions all day long but only you know how bad your asthma is, i can sympathise as i had bad asthma for many years and was hospitalised a few times(surprisingly it got better when i quit smoking :-), it is a very frightening and debilitating DISABILITY , and as far as im am aware it is defined as a disability for your purposes, its so easy for others to sit in judgement when they have a keyboard to hide behind, and so indicative of their narrow minded daily mail reader attitude when they do, i know that if my bad asthma bouts were a full time thing rather than just an occasional problem i would have no hesitation in claiming dla for them, maybe some people think that collapsing at work, urinating yourself and waking up in an ambulance with a paramedic stuffing needles in your arm is a normal event, i didnt , and it happened to me on more than one occasion without any warning , asthma is a horrible illness and a very frightening thing to have to live with0

Way to generalise Kaya, way to generalise. Daily Mail? I have never been so offended.0

I won't comment on your use of the word embittered, that would make me sound pretentious. If you can't work but you have enough to eat and drink and a television then maybe I would consider swapping places with you as I work 40 hours a week plus overtime and then have to do a bar job at the weekends to pay my CSA.
...and I've been doing that for 5 years this August....
so what do you want, a medal perhaps? i hope to god you dont ever have to eat your words, im sure its been said before on this thread but i will gladly swap my life for yours anyday, hell i would even give you my house and the contents of my bank account as well if you could take away my disability, the only way to judge a man is to spend some time in his shoes, i have been in yours before , have you tried living with a chronic disability?0 -

Too late. Are Daily Mail commenters now colonising other message boards or something? Are you here on an imperial mission?
Also, re your other post - developing countries should not be the benchmark for what we expect out of welfare provision within a wealthy country. It is right that we should strive to give those who are the least able to provide for themselves a shot at having a dignified life. I'm from America, and having lived on both sides of the Atlantic, I can confirm that the UK is much closer to having it right in terms of welfare. No contest, in fact.0 -

A medal? no, to swap my life with the life of the person who used to have four jobs but now can't do any, can't you read? (Hint; she wrote in big blue font)
Calm down dear, you'll make yourself ill.
and I STILL haven't forgiven you for your Daily Mail Remark.
Oh, and what has any of this got to do with YOUR disability?0 -

Does this person have enough to eat and drink, have a roof over her head and it able to spend a lot of time on the internet? then she's lucky in the big scheme of things.......and that's all I ever said.
She's even off to Euro-Disney....
let me guess, you read the Guardian?0 -

Hey, um, don't wanna be too direct here, but what are you doing sitting on the internet? Don't you have some homeless people to be kicking? (<--- THAT WAS A JOKE. I AM JOKING.)
(NOT A JOKE --->)
Also, if you have to work however many jobs to get by and this makes you angry at disabled people, consider who's getting played here and just how well the capitalist system is working out for you. Hint: fight the system, not the sick.0 -

Have you been drinking in the afternoon? what on earth are you gibbering on about kicking homeless people for? that's preposterous.
Good luck with finding where I said I'm angry at disabled people on this thread, you, young lady, are a bit mental.0 -
DACC clearly wants to casue arguments and is a waste of space with zero useful input to this thread or forum.
