TBH, if your ins company decide to pay out, there's very little you can do about it. At this moment in time all you can do is advise them of the facts, and only the facts. They don't want your opinion or thoughts on whether it's fraud or not, or how the other party is "clearly faking it", because they have to make their own minds up based on the evidence provided by both parties.
Just tell the truth and hope they catch them out.
I know they won't be able to take action on individual cases. But I think they should be made aware of the number of fraudulent claims, as it is financially in your own insurance company's interest if these fraudulent claims are made. But it isn't in the consumers interest.0 -

Director of an employment agency. Says it all really. These people have no morals anyway !!!!!!0 -
;44418036]Would the insurance ombudsman be interested in this?
I know I've got to take a hit with the accident being my fault but I'd rather have a £500 car park prang on my record rather than a £3K one where I injured someone. I'm just hoping my insurance company fight it and dont just decide to cough up because its too much hassle.
I'm hoping that the fact they've got this company Brownsword involved that they do plan to investigate.
BTW. Contacted them and the guy is coming to see me on Wednesday evening to take a statement.
Unfortunately they will probably just pay out rather than fight it. That seems to be the trend if the amounts aren't huge.0 -

Insurance companies make a fortune out of claims. It's always the consumer that gets hurt when it comes to insurance fraud lol0 -

If you follow my link to Watchdog on the first page, you will see that the insurance companies are also in on this.0 -
