Nar, you see you'll be claiming a lot more than the £2000 threshold.
The "silly" claims are just that, everyone involved knows they're fraudulent, it's just too costly fight them.
All claims in excess of £2000 are gonna be legal matters and this is why proof is needed.
The insurance companies encourage this claims culture, they all profit from it as long as it doesn't go to court, so the genuine claimants have a fight on their hands, whilst the fraudulent one's get everything handed over on a plate.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Surely as he claims not to have seen you, you shouldn't need to prove it - this is as good as him admitting it's all his fault.
I had a lot of problems like this when I had a dark green car, seems to be a bad choice that colour - bright yellow is better I suspect!:A0 -

All cars at night with only the side/parking lights on.
White cars in fog or snow with no lights on.
Grey/black cars (very popular) in torrential rain with no lights on.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I'm still thinking about not persuing the claim. I've signed no paper work or anything yet. Gonna see how long i'm off work for before deciding. Personally i think we are a claim nation and it needs to stop. I'm not stupid tho...i know that if i don't claim i'm not gonna be able to stop it all from happening!Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

Why don't you go to the Tescos in question and ask them for
1). a copy of the relevant tape
2). to save a copy because they don't save then forever, they get taped over.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
This is EXACTLY why I park at the other side of the car park and (if car park isn't busy) over 2 spaces.
It's also EXACTLY why you should always reverse park
Yesterday I was parked in a field, not another car within 25 yards
apart from the man who was parked about 15ft in front of me.
He still managed to back into my bumper and do nearly £700 worth of damage, I wasnt in the car but he was good enough to wait and give me his detais. This is the third time in 18 month Ive had to report things to my ins. company, and I havent even been in the car:eek:
wow you were lucky he waited.. many wouldntSealed pot challenger # 10

Sorry to be pedantic, but there's every chance it wouldn't be a "tape". Most multiple CCTV is recorded digitally and then saved to a server so that chances of it being "taped over" or more to the point deleted are slim. If you ask them nicely they may burn a copy of the footage onto dvd for you, (which is usually no problem and done in a couple of minutes) especially as it involves an accident.
The chances of a Tesco express having CCTV covering the parking are slim, unless they have a cashpoint outside.0 -
Its not beyond the realms of possibility. I would certainly ask.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Me too. I even do it at work. One of our senior partners was once seen climbing through the passenger side of his car because he'd parked so badly, and I'd parked properly next to him.0 -

I have a claim ongoing at present. Not badly hurt in accident - but lost my no claims - and increased premiums - as the idiot refuses to accept liability. This is now in process of going through the courts. No - I am not seeking cash payout - just put me back to the position I was in before - and also, the driver is questioning my integrity.0
