    Hi

I purchased home insurance last October with expected cashback of £80.00. The payment speed for this is stated to be several months but there has been no change to the status on my activity page at all. It also won't let me raise a ticket and the 'contact us' page which I am directed to sends me round in circles back to a page where I can't raise a ticket! So deeply frustrating! So I'm posting here in the hope that a Quidco advisor can help me.
  • This is my first time using the forum and I have no idea how to really!!

This also happened to me last August. I didn't challenge it as I thought it stated several months before payment. I also tried to contact Quidco but go round in circles. Please could someone help me too.

Rosie/Jules, any sign of Virgin ISA FTSE Tracker payment, well overdue now by all indicators on Quidco as regards payment times, June 2011 I had it tracked when I signed up for it, it confirmed months ago after I made my 6th. payment (which was stipulated in order to receive the cashback) so I knew it would take at least the 6 months, but it's now 10 months? Cheers.

Hi, I'm a bit disappointed in Quidco. I sold my phone via Sell Old Phones. I sent it in December and they were supposed to pay out within 7 days of receipt and confirmation that it was ok. My phone was perfect. I had to chase several times to get the money and eventually at the end of January it came. Last week I had a message from Quidco to say that no only was my cashback declined, but that you could not raise a claim as this company did not entertain any claims at all so basically, hard luck. I've emailed twice and had two standard replies and finally a last reply, but it says the same anyway. I've asked how many other people have been declined but not had any answer. Also, how can you deal with a retailer who has such a closed policy? In any case they are no longer a retailer with Quidco which to me is even more suspicious. It's only £3 but it's not that, it's just the unfairness of it that they can sign up with you, get business via you and then not honour the cashback principle :o(
Even worse, you seem to be quite ok with this from the replies - 'not our fault, sorry'
    Really disappointed.

    Hi there,

I am losing faith in Quidco.

I recently upgraded with Sky and used Quidco to get £50 cashback. I had to raise a claim as this did not track. I have finally had a response, which was "commission given to another marketing source". This meant nothing to me so I queried this again. I have since been denied the cashback but I see no reason why. I followed the terms, I did not use any other source or referer as the Quidco support person has commented. I am really displeased at this, as we used quidco as required. This seems to be just passing the buck. Blame the customer.

My other cashback items are now stacking up too and I have had to raise more claims.

Rosie, if you could help with this I would be grateful.

I am waiting for £50 cash back from Sky aswell. My order did not track at the time of purchase either. It is now showing as tracked and the last I heard a claim had been raised. It's the first time I've used quidco and I'm disappointed in the service received so far.

Hi Quidco, you might remember the issues I had a few pages back with my Sky cashback (was supposed to be £110, tracked as £50, quidco put on a claim for the other £60), the £60 has confirmed and been paid, i've received my M&S vouchers but the £50 cashback hasn't confirmed or anything yet?

    Good afternoon,

@mrspanda – Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Can you clarify which retailer you are referring to?

@Jobber – Can you also confirm the retailer you are referring to and I can certainly look into this for you.

@shaftingham - I have spoken to our payments team about this and I'm pleased to tell you that the payment has now arrived, so we will ensure this is applied to your account before the next payment run (1st April). It should update to confirmed status a day or so before then.

@Elbee – That does sound like a very disappointing scenario and I’m so sorry that you were affected by this. I have spoken to our Administration Manager regarding this and it appears that Sell Old Phone left their affiliate network, who we use to process and track cashback. When this happens (and it is rare), I’m afraid we cannot accept any cashback claims as it is the affiliate network who processes these. If the retailer is no longer working with that particular network then they are unable to process any claims for that retailer. I do agree it is disappointing and we always strive to ensure that retailers will meet their end of the bargain. Unfortunately in some rare cases, this doesn’t happen and regrettably it is one of the reasons we can never guarantee cashback. However, our Administration Manager also did advise me that they should have cleared up any outstanding transactions before leaving. Are you able to confirm for me your Quidco UserID so I can check this for you? If you do not wish to post on here, can you please send to members@quidco.com.

@flagstones – I’m afraid when a retailer pays cashback to another marketing source there is little more we can do, as it is very unlikely that the retailer will overturn their decision, unfortunately. We can sometimes find out where the retailer has paid the cashback to, although they aren’t obliged to provide us with this information. If you would like me to do this I will be happy to, but first would you just be able to confirm your Quidco UserID for me? If you do not want to post it on here, please send it to members@quidco.com and I will see if there is anything further I can do for you.

@mum26 - That does sound very strange! I'll be happy to chase it up for you. Are you OK to send another email to members@quidco.com? I can't seem to find the last one that you sent.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie
