Hi, can't find the moan zone on Quidco, has it been removed? I need to do my car insurance and want to know who to avoid? Thinking of using RAC or Tesco.

    Hi

I purchased a holiday with Expedia through quidco at the end of January. As all my other purchases tracked I didn't think to check it. After logging on a few days ago to make another purchase I noticed it hadn't tracked.

Now I am outside the 7 week time frame. I know it was my fault for not checking but is there anything I can do? I stand to lose out on 5% of over £2200.

I have sent Expedia an email and they said they are still willing to look into a claim but it has to come from quidco.

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks
  • Hello

I recently signed up to Quidco last week.
I decided to take up the Coral bet offer, offering £27.50 for new players who deposit and wager £25.

This has not tracked and after the 3 day wating period I decided to submit a claim form. However on the last page I get the note:

    Transaction Reference
Your order reference number with 8 digits starting with 1 in the format 1085932 or 10 digits starting with a 20 in the format: 2008089465 and also your coral username.

I can not find any numbers that match this description anywhere. I have looked at betting reference, card deposit reference .etc but to no avail. Any help on where I can find my order reference number.

Also when selecting a time and date for transcation, 3 possible options appear that are within 10 minutes of each other, Is it absolutely necessary that I choose the correct one associated with my purchase? I have tried matching it with the time I deposited funds but still unsure which one it is.

    Thanks

    Good afternoon,

@flagstones – I’m afraid when a retailer pays cashback to another marketing source there is little more we can do, as it is very unlikely that the retailer will overturn their decision, unfortunately. We can sometimes find out where the retailer has paid the cashback to, although they aren’t obliged to provide us with this information. If you would like me to do this I will be happy to, but first would you just be able to confirm your Quidco UserID for me? If you do not want to post it on here, please send it to members@quidco.com and I will see if there is anything further I can do for you.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

    Hi Rosie,

I emailed you but haven't had an acknowledgement, can you confirm you received this? I would go through quidco site, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to add text. I did not use another cashback site or any other source to look at this as we had decided to upgrade with sky. Also I raised the query 12 Feb, 9 days after the purchase as the item was not showing as tracked. As I had raised the query with Quidco on 12 Feb why did Quidco wait until 1 March to raise the query with Sky? And as there was a query raised, why did sky go ahead and pay (allegedly) someone else?

So yes, I do wish you to look at this further and follow up on the money I am entitled to.

    Thank you

    Good morning,

@CoffeeCup – Unfortunately if part of an order is returned or cancelled, this can cause cashback to be declined. Due to the way that the cashback process works, a lot of the time the affiliate network (who track and process the cashback) are unable to differentiate between a completely returned purchase and a partial refund. You are of course welcome to raise a cashback claim anyway, as some retailers may honour the remaining part of the sale.

@Abbafan1972 – Cashback timings usually depend on the retailer, the estimate payment speeds can be found on each retailer’s Quidco page under ‘stats’.

@Cranny44 – I am very sorry to hear that. The other referrer in this sense could be several different recipients, from a voucher code site, to another rewards site, or even a search engine. Cashback is actually the referral fee that we receive from a retailer for referring a sale to them via Quidco, and the cashback will be paid to the first/strongest cookie dropped on your browser in relation to that particular retailer. This is why we would always recommend clearing your browser cookies before making a purchase, so there isn’t another potential recipient of the referral fee/cashback.

@November2 – The Quidclans and moan zone were removed from the site around the beginning of the year. However, we will be introducing merchant reviews some time this year, so you will be able to view other member’s experiences of our retailers.

@derryone – We may still be able to look into this for you as we can ask the retailer if they will accept the claim at this stage. Can I ask you to raise a support ticket by going to the contact form, and select ‘I am unable to raise a cashback claim’. If you want to put FAO Rosie at the beginning of the ticket I will happily look into this issue for you.

@justforkicks – Can you clarify if you have any sort of order reference from Coral? What can sometimes happen is the retailer can change the format of the reference, so this may just need updating on our side. In regards to the time of the purchase, this doesn’t need to be precise. The retailers generally go off the date, rather than the exact time, so as long as the date is correct, this should be fine.

@she73 – Sorry to hear that you are still waiting for this. Can I ask you to please raise a support ticket and we will certainly chase this up for you.

@flagstones – My apologies for the delay. I have now sent a response to you.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

Rosie, thanks for your quick reply.

I can not find any number that specifically identifies itself as an order reference number.

I have a Debit Card Deposit Reference (beginning with 81..) and also a Betting Reference ( beginning with 59..)and a Betting I.D (beginning with 24..). However non of these number match with the requirements labelled for the Order Reference Number.

Any ideas on how/where to find this order reference number. Or as you said, the format may have chnaged and it may be one of the above?

    Thanks.

Not really having had problems with Quidco before I have also been declined a small amount from Republic because: 'We're very sorry to tell you that your cashback has been declined by the retailer, as it has been paid to another referrer due to competing cookies on your browser at the time of your purchase'. Looks like I will also be moving to Topcashback if this continues

    Hi all,
I've just bought tesco car insurance on line, and it didn't track so I raised a missing transaction ticket.
I then got a notification a few days later from quidco to say it had tracked and the purchase amount was £1 (if only t'were so!)
I went to quidco to check and it is showing the £1 car insurance with the potential £40 cashback, but is also showing a second transaction with the proper amount I paid (same cashback) saying claim raised.
Now I have no wish to claim the cashback twice, but I'm a bit concerned that having the one purchase showing as two transactions might confuse things and lead to it being declined.
Any suggestions, or should I just wait and see what happens?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
