IE has been fine for me - apart from not tracking (as above) which is my own fault as I usually use firefox for purchases. Getting into the site itself has been ok though.

  • Query about the lovefilm free trial cashback offer of £18.

Under the terms and conditions it states that you must complete the 30 day free trial. However this does not appear possible without paying for at least one months subscription as before the 30 days are up Lovefilm charge for the next month automatically. (my account was activated on the 13th March and the billing date is the 12th April).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Just joined quidco, not a bad concept, I placed an order with tmlewing and hopefully i'll get my 10% off.

It's been around 12-13 hours n it hasn't appeared on my quidco account yet.

I was actually going through the hard way and trying to be a tmlewing affiliate using linkshare.co.uk but I got rejected. So I remmebered a lot of people talking about quidco around here so gave it a shot.

I noticed that quidco and linkshare (affiliate site) both give 10%. Which is surprising, I was expecting quidco to be less generous.

    Good morning,

I hope you all had a lovely, sunny weekend.

@justforkicks – It will most likely be the betting ID that you have to enter, however I have checked the claims that have been raised over the past week and they are all supplying a reference beginning with 20. If you are struggling to find this, it could be worth contacting the retailer directly to see if they can advise as to where you find the reference.

@darkcloudi & honeybun16 – I’m not aware of any issues with the site at the moment or over the weekend, although there could have been an issue that I am not aware of. Can you try completely clearing your browser cookies/cache to see if this helps?

@elsien – Don’t worry, it is not uncommon for cashback to track as the amount of £1, this doesn’t always reflect the amount that you paid (it can sometimes mean the amount of items/products purchased). In a case like this we’ll just need to close the cashback claim, as it has tracked in naturally so the claim is not needed. This will be picked up by the Quidcare Team, so you do not need to do anything further, they will ensure the claim is closed for you.

@wesleypotterton – I believe you can contact Lovefilm a few days before the contract is due to end, and request that the account be closed on the last day of your free trial. I have spoken to a member who has done this previously and I believe it worked for them fine.

@londonTiger – Cashback can take up to 3 days to track, so don’t worry just yet! If it doesn’t track after 3 days, then you’ll just need to raise a missing cashback claim for it and we can have it manually tracked in for you.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

@mrspanda – Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Can you clarify which retailer you are referring

I noticed that quidco and linkshare (affiliate site) both give 10%. Which is surprising, I was expecting quidco to be less generous.

Which reminds me of a question I keep meaning to ask.........back in the day, Quidco gave ALL commission received to their members, making their profit from the £5 a year charge.

    Is this still the case?

I purchased annual insurance with Aviva on 29th February and it did not track so I raised a claim on 4th March. It is showing in my activity page as a claim raised which is being looked at but it is now three weeks and I have not been advised of the outcome. Can the Quidco rep help me on this.

    Good morning,

Rosie is not around much this week so you've got me instead for a few days. I'll do my best to address your concerns and answer your queries.

@mrspanda - Thanks for coming back to us. I've checked for you and Sainsbury's Home Insurance are currently taking around 7 months (from the date on which you verified your purchase by completing the relevant form on your activity page) to pay us. You should have had this automatic response though, linked to the specific purchase, when you selected the question "Why hasn't my cashback updated to confirmed yet?" in the contact form on our help page and I'm sorry you had a problem with this. If your payment takes longer than we would expect we will of course chase it up for you.

@Froggitt - I can confirm that Quidco still gives 100% of the cashback we negotiate with the retailers to our customers.

@macro duck - Hi Roger, Claim can take a while to be processed but we do keep you informed at every stage. We have to hold on to Aviva Home Insurance claims until the end of their 120 day validation period before sending them off. We'll let you know when that takes place. For an idea of how long the whole process may take, I've checked Aviva's claims statistics on their page on our site and they are currently taking around 6 months to process claims for us. This time runs from the date on which you first raise your claim though, and not from the date on which we send it off to them. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and as soon as we have a resolution from them we will write to update you via the claim.

    I hope this has helped.

    Kind regards,

    Jules

    Hi,

I need some help and advice from the quidco representative please.

Through quidco i bought sky last night for the home i am soon moving into.

I completed the transaction online and it all tracked as of this morning BUT.. i got a call from sky saying they couldn't process my order until the current occupier of the house requests or cancels their sky account. She told me my payment details had not been processed. I did not receive a confirmation email that sky had accepted the order, just an email to phone them.

I've been in touch with the current owner and he will request cancellation of his sky package tonight. If i went through quidco again and redo my sky order would quidco treat this as fraudulent? I'm really unsure of what to do. I was told over the phone that i must ring to rebook sky, but if i do this i will probably lose my cash back.

    Sorry for long-winded post.
    Mark
