Anyone having problems with Swinton insurance not tracking ?0

quidco_Company_Representative wrote: »Good morning,
Rosie is not around much this week so you've got me instead for a few days. I'll do my best to address your concerns and answer your queries.
@macro duck - Hi Roger, Claim can take a while to be processed but we do keep you informed at every stage. We have to hold on to Aviva Home Insurance claims until the end of their 120 day validation period before sending them off. We'll let you know when that takes place. For an idea of how long the whole process may take, I've checked Aviva's claims statistics on their page on our site and they are currently taking around 6 months to process claims for us. This time runs from the date on which you first raise your claim though, and not from the date on which we send it off to them. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and as soon as we have a resolution from them we will write to update you via the claim.
I hope this has helped.
Kind regards,
Jules
Hello Jules
I'm not worried about the payment but my main concern is that the item has not tracked. Should I be concerned about this as it is now almost a month since the transaction took place.
Thanks

Good morning,
@**woody123** - Not at all, this is fine. We do understand that things can go wrong with your order from time to time, so our system does allow for discrepancies such as this. You can just go through again and make sure that you make a completely fresh order once the cancellation request has been completed.
@Shaggy – We’re not aware of any issues with Swinton not tracking, although I will keep an eye out for any further comments on this.
@Roger - Not at all, when cashback doesn't track, this can sometimes be caused by the settings on your browser or your security software. Just because a transaction does not track it certainly doesn't mean it won't be paid, as long as you have met all of the terms and conditions for cashback.

Hi Rosie,
The policy from Swinton arrived today so I'll raise a missing cashback claim. I dont really want to cancel the policy as theres a sneaky £50 charge for doing that even if within 14 days !!!! So, i think missing cashback is my only course of action for now.
If you need me to send you details via PM please let me know.0 -
I appear to have a problem with a purchase made through Quidco in January 2012. I hired a car from Auto Europe for £278.21, with cashback offered at a rate of 7%. This did track, but the cashback was tracking at a rate of £0.01 on a £278.21 purchase.
I did initially query this but the Quidco system confirmed "If your cashback has tracked at a lower amount that you were expecting, don’t worry because this is normal for Auto Europe".
The cashback amount has today updated to confirmed, but this is still at £0.01, and will be paid to me on the next payment run.
I have tried to open a support ticket by going to; Quidcare Support > Creat a Cashback Claim > selecting Auto Europe and clicking Confirm > my transaction is listed and I click Next > I then get a message "Submit a claim: my cashback is missing, declined or incorrect"
I am then unable to do anything more, as I am given no further options.
Any help would be appreciated.0 -
Hi. Although I've never had problems before I have recently had 2 purchases not track through quidco. I've made a claim for one, but a purchase I made from Sky hasn't tracked - and I purposely cleared all my cookies first !! There is a notice on the Quidco claims page dated 26/3 saying to wait 24 hours before making a claim. It still says that today. Can I make my claim yet?Remember
There's no such thing as an idle thought
Many thanks to :A EVERYONE :A who posts on here.......I :heart2: you guys :kisses3:0 -
Dear Quidco Representative,
Can you please explain to me why a handful of my eBay cashback transactions that automatically tracked, have, after a period ranging from 2-3 months ago have suddenly reverted to a lower tracked amount with absolutely no notification from Quidco as to why, this isn't the first time I've seen this happen either. Here are recent 3 examples.
eBay transaction for £3.98 - Tracked at 0.14p
eBay transaction for £11.99 - Tracked at 0.20p
eBay Transaction for £4.05 - Tracked at 0.04p
These above 3 examples are what they automatically tracked for (no claim raised) Your system tracked them at these amounts so I assume your system works properly and these are the correct cashback amounts. Now, 2-3 months later and ONLY because I log every cashback transaction and each status manually in excel, I can see clearly you have lowered the amounts to the following
eBay transaction for £3.98 - Tracked at 0.11p
eBay transaction for £11.99 - Tracked at 0.15p
eBay Transaction for £4.05 - Tracked at 0.03p
Now, yes its a small amount but that's totally irrelevant, I know I've seen this happen before but unless I update the status every day and check quidco summary everyday I'm bound to miss it. So either your tracking system is wrong initially? Or something very naughty is going on.
Even if there was a rate change as far as I'm aware the rate that is offered at the tracking stage is what should be applied right? I understand eBay tracking is complicated for lack of a better word but I know for damn sure those tracked amounts have been adjusted with no notification or explanation as to why?
If you want my account details to check further feel free to pm me here, your help system makes it's incredibly tedious to direct it through your "contact us" pages on the Quidco web page.0 -
Good morning,
@shaggy - Yes, please do raise a claim so that we can try to get this tracked manually for you. To raise the claim simply go to the Quidcare Support tab in your My Quidco page and select the claim link.
@DarkHorse - I'm very sorry you are having this problem as you should be able to raise a claim. Can you please paste your post into members@quidco.com along with your Quidco username, booking reference and the full name and email address used in the purchase. We'll be able to help with this.
@jumbaya - the message has now been removed and you may raise a claim. Sorry - we'd had a few technical problems but they have now been fixed.
@antispam246 - I'm sorry you've had a problem in contacting us. The Quidcare Team will be able to look at your account and answer your question. You simply need to select the question "Why has my cashback tracked at the wrong amount?" in the contact form on our help page. It's the second question on the list if that helps.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

@shaftingham - I have spoken to our payments team about this and I'm pleased to tell you that the payment has now arrived, so we will ensure this is applied to your account before the next payment run (1st April). It should update to confirmed status a day or so before then.
Many thanks,
Rosie
(above RE my enquiry about Virgin FTSE Tracker £50 cashback 10 months...)
Er...no it hasn't updated to confirmed a day or two before April 1st.
Well, it must have been an April Fools promise, because April 1st it hasn't been confirmed and paid as promised above.....UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0
