i don't see any response from the quidco company rep to post 780 on 5/1/12 by pumpkin
_soup about "the £50quidcocashback from the PostOfficeCreditCard? Been 6 months now, and no word". I am in the same boat and would appreciate some feedback from quidco on the matter.0 -
Santander Preferred Current Account Joining Cashback?
My mum recently applied for (& was granted) a Santander preferred current account. She went through quidco, which is currently being tracked.
The amount offered by quidco was £45. A few days later, this gets upped to £75 for new applicants.
Quite annoying, but bad timing i guess.
As Santander allow you to have 2 preferred current accounts, if she applies again (for a 2nd) and is granted it, will she be entitled to £75 cashback for this application, or can you only apply for ONE of these accounts through quidco?0 -
Hope someone can advise on this query.
I'm new to Quidco and have £43.43 "total tracked cashback" and have had for over a month.
When does this money become available to me?
Thanks,0 -
Well thanks Jules and Quidco, my outstanding 888.com £50 claim has confirmed and will hit me on the next payment run in a day or three........
Amazing how things turn out, because as I stated a few posts back, I had my first ever CB decline (on TCB of all places) 2 days ago!
It took 10 months to pay from transaction date, but it means that I have a 100% payout record with Quidco thus far.
Just that bloody annoying £35 BidRivals to be resolved then my Quidco account will be clear of unresolved issues, everything remaining tracked OK.:T:TUK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0 -
Good afternoon,
@deppo & @pumpkin_soup – I’m sorry we missed a post. I can respond here. I’ve checked with the payments team and we’re expecting a payment from them within the next two weeks. They have been a little delayed and this will bring them back within their normal processing period. If your payment is delayed and has not updated by the end of this month, please contact the Quidcare Team on the link below:
http://www.quidco.com/help/#389
@K_P83 – I’m afraid they will only pay cashback for one Preferred Current Account and I’ve pasted the relevant terms of their offer below for you:
“Cashback is only available once per person per product”
@mickp67 – Welcome to Quidco. Cashback does have to go through a few stages before it actually becomes confirmed and paid and the time it takes depends on the individual retailer. You can get an indication of how long each retailer takes to process cashback on their page on our site.
For further details on the various stages please see “Your Quidco Purchases” in our help pages.
If you need specific advice about purchases or your account please contact the Quidcare Team via the contact form on our help page.
@Shaftingham – that’s great news. As we always have to say, cashback payment times are never guaranteed and sometimes these annoying delays occur, but we do our best to ensure that you don’t have to wait too long wherever possible.
Kind regards.

She already has a preferred current account.
Only once per person per product:
Well she applied for cashback on the preferred current account (so that is per person i guess), but it's a different product.
So would she gain cashback on the everyday saver after already applying for cashback on the preferred current account ....... or would she not get cashback for the everyday saver?0 -
I joined quidco last february and have paid my £5 annual sub. I have joined subs TCB and will probably not use Quidco anymore.
My question is: I have some purchases tracked but not confirmed, if they confirm after Feb will another £5 be deducted from my cashback or will I get the full amount because the purchases were in the year that I have already paid my annual fee for?
I hope that makes sense!0 -

Not for many, many months.shaftingham wrote: »Well thanks Jules and Quidco, my outstanding 888.com £50 claim has confirmed and will hit me on the next payment run in a day or three
Nice one. I was told my GBSlots cashback has been approved for £20 quid, so that'll pay out eventually. Santander have also approved for £33 quid as well, so that's 2 down, (i think) 5 to go.
Once i've got them all tracked, confirmed and paid then i'm done with Quidco and probably cashback in general. It's just not worth the hassle for me personally as it really is a false economy.0 -

GB Slots are good so you'd have no worries there I'd imagine. Same with Santander.
Yes, it is tiresome when things go wrong, but it does encourage the savvy consumer. I initially just looked for the effectively free stakes on gaming sites, but between Q and TCB have made almost 900 in a year, a lot by normal shopping I'd do anyway such as home insurance, breakdown, eBay, annual holiday and energy switching which I do about once a year when each contract is done. Overall I think it's a great idea which would be compounded if, as in our cases, the system worked better.
The warning should be to beware of sucker buying where the Cashback has swung you into a purchase you wouldn't have normally made as it's unnecessary.
I would say your first year will always be the best, as once you swap utilities like phones/TV there are only 3 big suppliers and you will cease to be a new customer to anybody eventually!
When push comes to shove, despite the tedium of waiting, so far I have received 100% of my earnings on Q with no declines.UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0
