Did I get those ? What do you think ?
That really is quite a marked difference in results. I can only guess your comment about TCB being more respected is probably fairly accurate. When you have to raise support tickets for almost every transaction it really doesn't send out a very good message.0 -
Good afternoon,
@Froggitt – The statistics are only reflective of historical payment data, so when the delayed payments do come through, the statistics will be automatically updated. If you haven’t already, can I ask you to raise a support ticket so our Administration Team can look into it for you? I know Dell are behind with payments at the moment but we are working with them to resolve this.
@jjmclure – I’m sorry to hear that, and please don’t worry. It sounds like there was an error with your account but we can certainly look into it for you. Can you confirm if your username is the same as your old Quidco username? In-store purchases can take a little longer to track in, so it could be that you made the in-store purchase before closing your account, which is why it tracked. However you still shouldn’t have received the email to your account, so I will need to look into this for you.
@hansi – That is correct, however do note that the 6 months begins from the date you create the claim, rather than the date we send off the claim. So, if you raised the claim in October, for example, we would expect the cashback to come through by around April.
@denise38 – I’m very sorry to hear that. We are still working on this issue with AA and unfortunately it is taking a lot longer than we’d have hoped. We know it is far from ideal but do be assured we are doing everything we can at the moment to speed the process along, as much as we can.
@Froggitt – I do understand your concern but do be assured this is not the case. Far from it, in fact! We’ve grown considerably over the past year, and we’re constantly working on new features and processes to ensure that your payments do not take any longer than they have to, and to make the whole cashback process smoother and more enjoyable for all of our members.
@Matt.D – I’m afraid I can’t comment on your particular transaction as I can’t view your account via this forum, however if you still have the support ticket open, can I ask you to contact them again on there? The Quidcare Team can then advise you of any progress that we’ve made.
I will be away next week, but Julie will be here to answer any questions you may have.
Many thanks,

Rosie,
Thanks for the response - my username was the same. As for making the purchase close to when I closed my account that's not the case - I closed it at least 2 months before I made a purchase in Debenhams. Again I am curious as to what happens with the money that is being tracked in cases such as this.0 -
Did anyone else have a problem with their Curry's cashback tracking during the 10% bonus period (Reserve and Collect)? I've raised a ticket but I'm a bit worried as £60 is a fair amount of money to miss out on. If it doesn't go through then I think it may be the straw that breaks the camel's back so to speak.0

Hi Quidco
Thanks for the reply. The cashback relates to car insurance and was tracked naturally. I hope the money will be paid to my account at the end of this month/beginning of next if its a 90 day validation period0 -

I have done far more transactions on TCB than Quidco. So far have had one claim on TCB paid, one now confirmed but awaiting payment (took 6 months to confirm after I raised ticket) and 5 others outstanding all for non-tracking. 7 in total.
On Quidco have had 3 claims about non-tracking in March 2011 - one paid (Nokia) after 7 months, the other 2 are still outstanding after 10 months (bidrivals and 888)
So pro-rata TCB and Quidco are the same for number of claims. The TCB site has 4 benefits:
Firstly the interface is more user friendly, navigable and very clear i.e. has columns all on the same one view which show tracked-confirmed-payable-paid with totals at the bottom. Quidco is a mess.
Secondly on TCB you get paid by BACS when you want, no lower limit as soon as transactions become payable. No Quidco 'every-2-weeks' system.
Thirdly feedback is allowed; dodgy affiliates and merchants are apparent from before you purchase. A few times I have avoided badly rated retailers after reading feedback. And the stats are honest and accurate and generaly prove a good guide for payment dates, and CLEARLY show the time of the last payment TCB received from the merchant.
Lastly, and more importantly, you get your dollar quicker. Much quicker.
To this date neither site has ever declined a transaction.
P.S. The M&S hamper from Rogers - the chocolates were vile. Caramelled nuts inedible. Chocolate Florentines just about palatable. The wine I gave to the missus as I don't drink the stuff. I suppose peasants like me were never supposed to have poncey food....:rotfl:UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0 -
I wonder if anyone has any ideas - I purchased a mattress at £199 in December but on Quidco it shows as £169.
When I try to contact I get the questions to select etc. then it gives me a list of quick answers and if none of these to have certain info when contacting them but I cant find a link to contact their support team0 -

It is because cashback is only paid on the price net of VAT - probably.UK Consumers: The Gift That Keeps On Giving......0
