I have just been on the Quidco website to check my cashback, and, lo and behold, Aviva now take six months, before they even look at it. I probably will have renewed my poicy by the time they look at it. Outrageous. Bye Bye Quidco, hello TCB!
Don't worry, I'm today at the 10-month anniversay on BidRivals and 888 without seeing a penny and getting the same scripted replies.......

Quidco Company Representative, can we have your comments on these delays please?

I have unpaid claims going back almost a year now. Maybe some honesty on your website about how long you are taking to pay out........failing that how about another insipid meaningless scripted reply that doesnt get me any further........

    Hi

I have around £80 to be returned to me from October 2011 from Aviva and there has been no progress on when I will receive this.

FYI - My Aviva from 6th August is showing as confirmed today - it was a normal tracking with no claim required. :T

    Mr Quidco. Explain this please.

    Dell.

    Payment speed
    Less than 3 months
    (from tracking date)
    9% paid within 60 days
    67% paid between 60 to 90 days
    24% paid between 90 to 180 days

    Cashback claim payment speed
    Less than 4 months
    (from submission date)
    100% paid between 90 to 180 days

If the above is true, how come I am waiting for cashback for a purchase on 17th April?

I've got outstanding transactions from GBSlots, Bingo MagiX, Heart Bingo, JackpotJoy, Rogers Bingo & Tombola.

I'm 4 months in with Tombola already .. it's certainly intruiging why the gaming sites seem to be such a problem.
  • Hi, I closed my account last year as I decided to switch to TCB. Over the Christmas period I made a purchase in Debenhams andwas surprised to receive an e-mail from Quidco tracking the purchase! This has me concerned that Quidco could be tracking financial transactions of mine (and no doubt countless others) and I presume taking the money for them. Can you confirm what happens with the payments in situations like this and what can be done to remove the association that my card has with Quidco.

    Thanks!

    Good morning,

@jasonwatkins – not to worry, I hope we can get to the bottom of it for you!

@saintsdave – If you have had to raise a claim then Aviva Car Insurance do usually take around 6 months to confirm cashback in your account. This is because they have a 90 day validation period in which they will not look into any claims for us (this is 120 days for Home Insurance). If the purchase has tracked in naturally, however, it usually takes around 3 – 4 months to be confirmed.

@hansi – I’m not sure where you have found this information but do be assured this is not the case. Aviva Car Insurance still have a 90 day validation period before they investigate (120 days for Home Insurance), and in general they take around 6 months to confirm the cashback in your account. The validation periods are set out by the retailer rather than ourselves, so we do have to abide by these.

    Many thanks,

    Rosie

This is where I got it from on your website:

Don’t worry - Aviva Car Insurance has been taking an average of 6 months to process claims up to confirmation stage.

If your payment takes any longer than that to update we will of course chase it up for you.

Funnily enough I have had a number of these on TCB.
GBSlots confirmed and paid in 13 weeks tracked OK. Tombola didn't track but I put a claim in and it was confirmed 4 weeks later and paid 4 weeks after that (weirdly at 10 quid more than promised??!!)
Jackpot Joy £30.30 confirmed immediately but hasn't been paid yet but has only been 9 weeks and on TCB feedback seems a reliable payer. Rogers Bingo tracked and paid in 11 weeks (plus sent me a christmas M&S hamper, an Amazon voucher for 20, and a birthday 25 quid M&S voucher, in total about 90 quids worth of unexpected goodies....did you get these?)
The others you state are part of the Cassava group I believe, as are 888 sites, and I wouldn't trust them with a penny so can't comment.

I bought AA breakdown cover in October 2010. It tracked at lower rate which was fine as they said it would. However they paid out in April 2011 at lower rate so I raised a claim for higher amount. Claim is still outstanding from July 2011 when I last got a response. usual rubbish about being busy blah blah. Came on here and was advised to contact Quidco support again which I did. Got the same response about taking things seriously and having talks with AA. Well we in 2012 now and still haven't had a response.
Have cancelled my cover or rather I haven't renewed. Have lost all faith in Quidco and am now using another cashback site.

    Good morning,

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

@Matt.D – That looks completely fine, as long as it is showing as tracked, with the correct rate of commission that you were expecting. More Th>n are behind with payments at the moment, but we are expecting a payment from them this month that should cover a great deal of the older transactions. Generally More Th>n will take around 6 – 7 months to confirm cashback.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

    Hi Rosie,

I received a Quidcare support ticket 18/12/11 saying the More Than payments were being hurried along, but since then I've not received anything or had the cashback updated to confirmed. Any updates on what's happening?

    Regards,

    Matt
