Hi,

I have made my first few instore purchases with Sports Direct a couple of months ago and I was wondering if these go through the same cashback process as if I was to shop online?

Do they take long to pay?

Good morning all, has anyone had any problems with "the chocolate tasting club" transactions? I noticed a post on the grabbit board on 10th September, about this (can't find it now though) it was for £7 cashback when you purchased their introductory offer. Anyway on 15/11, I received notification that this has been declined. I have raised it with Quidcare support. IIRC there were quite a lot of MSE'ers that had taken up this offer, and I just wondered if anyone else had their payment declined. (Hi Rosie, I am not expecting a response to this, it's just a query to other forumites!)

I purchased a samsung tv from 1staudiovisual.co.uk, quidco tracked this was in may now nov, still no cashback, customer services contacted 4 times useless answers just to wait, raised ticket about it whuch quidco stated my cadhback should have been paid.

I contact the merchant 2 weeks ago by online chat they said contact quidco as the cashback has been sent on my order and no outstanding cashbacks, i contacted quidco told me they will loik into it, nothing.

Contacted quidco on twitter, they told me to contact customer services, i did told to wait, quidco is useless, can u get this sorted once and for all, ur eager to take my subs so take charge if this please as im really annoyed, failing this ill use cashbackkings instead less hassle, pm me please.

@Maverick_TF – In-store cashback can take a little longer to come through than with online transactions, unfortunately. Generally in-store cashback will take around six months to be confirmed in your account, although we are experiencing a payment delay with all in-store retailers at the moment. Sports Direct are currently paid up to February 2011.

@TAZMANUK – I’m very sorry to hear of the trouble you’ve had with this transaction. There is a delay with 1staudiovisual.co.uk’s network at the moment unfortunately, and this has affected several different retailers. I’m afraid we cannot use PMs on here as it is against MSE’s terms and conditions, however if you raise this as a complaint via our complaints procedure (http://www.quidco.com/complaints) I will certainly investigate this further for you.

Perhaps Rosie or Jules would explain why an 888.com transaction has just paid today on TCB 4 months after confirming, whereas the one I made via Quidco 3 1/2 months previous (and Jules told me was confirmed several months ago after non-tracking claim) has failed to materialize? Presumably the same affiliate network.

I get this vision that one day a Quidco ex-employee will appear on Watchdog, voice disguised, to enlighten us on waht is really going on.

Incidentally, if I have friends less internet savvy than myself, and change their insurance or energy suppliers with them on my PC via my Quidco account, can I receive multiple payments from the same retailer??

The quidco twitter team are useless saying theyve done all they can, what a load of rubbish, can.you get on the case as id like to disput this years subscription as youre not helping what so ever, but i bet when.or if i ever get cashback owed from may im sure ull deduct the fee right away wont you. Aye cant have quidco waiting for their cut.

If not sorted its either watchdog cause had enough of replies where sorry ur not sorry, or we have done all that we can we will.update you, habe you actually confronted the merchant and said look if u do sort these out ur removed from our system, nope u havent as ive asked the merchant again.

They have said they have no outstanding cashbacks so whos lying, whos telling porkies, is that company in dire straights and no able to furfill their agteement as my purchase was in may, ive chased this up so many.times with u and merchant its bat n ball game.

If not sorted soon then watchdog it is and hope others follow me or get ombustman if u have one as ur not pulling ur finger out.
