    Good afternoon,

@MisterMicawber - If the purchase is for a friend or relative then this is completely fine! You will just have to sign into your Quidco account, and then your relative will have to enter their details when making the purchase, as normal. This is covered in our help FAQ, please see here for more information:

"Can my account be used for purchases for my friends and family?

It's fine to make a purchase for a friend or family member, but we do monitor the activity on our site to ensure that there is no abuse of our offers. Also, remember that you can earn £2.50 for referring others to Quidco!"

@Bosie - That does sound like a long time to be waiting, did you have to raise a claim for the purchase at all? As this would have prolonged the process. As it is over 6 months old our payments team will be on the case for you, but if you would like me to personally have a look into this for you I will be more than happy to, could you send me an email at juliewells@quidco.com.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

I have several Halfords and Debenhams in-store transactions still only showing as tracked going as far back as January 2011 and B&Q in store from Mar, why are these so slow?

Ok, I will post a diary each Friday from now on, concerning claims and progress. My confirmed (but unpaid as of yet) transactions are irrelevant as within the timescale thus far, but the following are an example of stagnation:

18 Mar 11Claim: for £6.32 cashback from Nokia Claim raised

6 Mar 11Claim: for £50.00 cashback from 888.com Poker Claim raised

6 Mar 11Claim: for £35.00 cashback from BidRivals UK Claim raised

All the above claims I am told by Jules are accepted and not declined (supposedly good news) but as you can see have been stagnant and unpaid for over 5 months.

So, this is their status at close of business today 26/08/2011, same as for last 5 1/2 months.

I will update this weekly to show the 'progress' or payment of these confirmed claims. Get ready for a longgggggggggg thread.....:rotfl::rotfl:

I refrained from posting a promised weekly update on my Quidco claims (as above quoted and posted 25th. August) as it would fill up the thread too much with an identical post once a week with nothing changed........

So I've done it after 5 weeks instead. The claims are now 7 months old. Guess what? In the 5 weeks since the OP, nothing has changed!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

    WHAT A SURPRISE!!!

P.S. Apologies for dispiriting those who've had claims outstanding for a mere 3,4,5 or 6 months and have a misplaced optimism or hope they'll be paid soon, but they are mere 'fledglings'..

P.P.S. I have 3 non-tracking claims in with TCB from June totalling £53.53, one was paid in August and the second was paid me last week. Like Quidco they appear on a drop-down menu when you raise a claim. UNLIKE Quidco their 'payments team REALLY is working on your behalf...'

I took out a Legal and General insurance policy and this was December 2010, it offered £90 Cashback, 9 month's on still nothing? Very misleading and even though I have sent messages, nothing gets sorted.

I took out L&G Home Insurance on 14/09/11 with the offer of £50 cashback via Quidco.

The transaction has failed to track and there is no drop down for L&G in the submit a claim: my cashback is missing, declined or incorrect. There are only 11 drop down options.

How do I get my purchase checked? How does any get a purchase checked if there provider is not in the drop down list?

If your merchant doesn't appear in the dropdown then it hasn't tracked altogether. The dropdown you get when using the claims link will have a record af ALL recent sites you clicked/visited through quidco, whether you purchased or not. You'll have to do a manual claim I believe, best of luck to you - you'll need it, and even if they do manually confirm it for you you'll not see payment until after next Easter at least.

The 3 claims I posted above, all actually did appear on my dropdown list and Jules has confirmed their tracking just after I claimed, but as you can see I've had no sign of settlement in almost 7 months, and get the usual 'we are waiting for payment from the merchant...' or 'rest assured we are working on your behalf..' or 'our payments team are on the case for you.....' pre-scripted BS replies.

You are unfortunately embarking now on a very lengthy and frustrating journey as far as your CB goes.

    Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a great weekend.

@molerat – The in-store cashback programme is quite behind at the moment, but our payments team have been working very hard to ensure payments are caught up. All outstanding January payments should be cleared up by the end of this month, if not sooner, and February/March will follow closely after.

@shaftingham – I am really sorry to hear this. We don’t like claims to take longer than they have to, and I do realise how frustrating it can be, having to wait for a resolution. If you would like me to take a closer look at these claims for you I would certainly be happy to. If you’d like to either supply me with your Quidco username, or send me an email at juliewells@quidco.com, I’ll certainly have a look for you.

@swanny65 – As Shaftingham has pointed out, the drop down list represents every retailer you have ever visited through Quidco, whether a purchase was made or not. If the retailer is not appearing, then I’m afraid this does mean that a click through was not recorded, and you most likely weren’t logged in/logged out at some point when making the purchase.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

I have had a Vodafone cashback of £120 tracking since 26th November 2010.
Sent first email on 24th November with a query about it and then 13 more since chasing it up. Been speaking to someone called Liam. And now I have just noticed that you are advertising an offer of "£100 cashback + 3 months 1/2 price on the iPhone 4". I cant believe you can still be offering this as i am STILL after 10 months yet to receive MY £120 cashback from Vodafone and i seem to never get any real answers from Quidco. Please can you explain how you can still offer deals with Vodafone when they have yet to honnor my claim?. Where do I go from here?
This seems to have been resolved and I have been told my payment is coming on 15th. Although it should not have taken so long big thanks to quidco Company Representative Rosie for getting such a speedy result after my post last week. It does pay to use forums like this.

thanks again quidco Company Representative Rosie

    Good afternoon,

@bristolleedsfan – Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve passed it on for you.

    EDIT: Here we go! http://www.quidco.com/halifax-fixed-online-saver/

Well, that didn't last long! (nor on TCB either)
  • Grrrr. Am unimpressed at Quidco at the moment. I have always used TCB, and been very impressed with their customer service. Joined quidco last september, first few transactions went through fine. Have a priceminister transaction thats been outstanding from February - tracked but that's it. Got a caesars casino transaction, which never tracked, then got declined, was dealing with Kim @ Quidcare, who kept saying she was not getting my emails through. I eventually sent her a pdf of my Credit card bill from April with the Caesars transaction on, and she responded saying the info needed to come from Caesars themselves. The Website was down last night so I emailed the caesars support explaining the situation. Here is the response... it was the bit in red which made me chuckle! Have forwarded that, and see what feeble excuse comes up this time!

    Dear Andrea,

Thank you for contacting Caesars Casino Online Customer Support regarding your original deposit.

We can confirm that you deposited £20 on our website, from a Visa Card registered in your name.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any documentation or proof that would be accepted by whomever is asking you for the proof, if they are unwilling to accept a PDF of your credit card statement.

We recommend that you speak to them and ask them what documentation would be acceptable.

If you have any further questions, you can find a range of answers on our Support Home Page http://caesarscasinoonline.custhelp.com. Alternatively, call our friendly Customer Support team free on 0800 458 3534, available 24 hours a day.

    With kind regards,

Nick D - Caesars Casino Online Customer Support Advisor

    Thanks Jules / Rosie,

You sorted it out as promised. Money should be in the bank tomorrow! Many thanks, Andrea

Let me get this straight i did something wrong.

My browser auto logs into Quidco. Click once for L&G offers then again to visit the L&G site - that's all is needed to log the visit in the drop down menu.

How could that not be recorded unless Quidco's site wasn't working.

Will ring L&G and cancel my insurance as I have a week to try again else where.
