  • Good morning,

@Bog Brush - I am very sorry to hear that this is still outstanding. Can you clarify if your purchase was previously declined? As this does unfortunately prolong the process. If you would like to supply me with your Quidco username I will be more than happy to have a look into this for you.

The purchase was never declined but did have some trouble getting them to verify that i had actually used it, eventually they replied saying that they have now manually tracked it and that was 2 days after the purchase. Not sure I want to post my User name as it is my email address, have you a direct contact email that I can send it to you
    thanks

I had two claims raised on 21 Aug and still haven't heard anything back.

I spoke with someone from the merchant company this afternoon (T -Mob) and she told me it wasn't their fault but the fault of Quidco as to why the cashback wasn't confirmed!

  • Has anybody got Cashback from Cash Genie, I am about to take out a £75 loan and repay it back in a few days to get the £35 cashback, has anyone tried this, has anybody had any problems trying to do this?

My T-Mobile claim is still outstanding from June, I'm getting a bit fed up now. It wouldn't be so bad if I knew that T-Mobile were going to pay at some stage but I keep checking Quidco to see if the £80 has been confirmed. :( No, T-Mobile won't get involved at all with customer queries regarding cashback.
Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!
  • I'll be interested to hear how SallyUK & Littlewren get on - a freind is due £ 80 similarly from T Mobile for a phone received last week but the wrong company (&amount) appears on his account so far - the T Mobile page suggests tracking in hours !

It was reading about all the successes on this site that persuaded him to try Quidco - hmmmm

My Sky order of 11 August (see my previous post) is still at 'claim raised' stage. Also a PC World one from 15 July, but I'm not really bothered about that. The stats posted about tracking give the impression that these companies are reliable for cashback, my experience does not back up that impression...

    Good afternoon,

@Froggitt – I’m afraid cruise.co.uk are a part of the large ongoing delay we’re experiencing with a particular affiliate network. We are on the case for you, but I’m afraid we cannot give a specific payment date at the moment.

@Bog Brush – Not a problem, could you please email juliewells@quidco.com with your account/transaction details and I can certainly look into this further for you.

@SallyUK – I’m sorry that you were misinformed. We cannot pay the cashback onto you until we have received it ourselves from the retailer. However, T-Mobile’s customer service team probably won’t be aware of how the cashback process works, so we wouldn’t recommend contacting them regarding cashback. T-Mobile claims are currently taking around four months to be confirmed, so your claims will be going through the normal process at the moment.

@littlewren – I believe I have spoken to you about this on Get Satisfaction. Would you like to send me an email to juliewells@quidco.com and I’ll have a closer look into this for you? I seem to remember you had a lot of trouble with the transaction, so I do hope I’ll be able to help.

@bristolleedsfan – Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve passed it on for you.

    EDIT: Here we go! http://www.quidco.com/halifax-fixed-online-saver/

@almillar – As your claim is only from August, we wouldn’t have expected the cashback to have been confirmed just yet. Sky claims take around four months to be confirmed, from the submission of the claim. As you have raised a claim, it will not show as ‘tracked’ at any point, it will stay at ‘claim raised’ status until the cashback is confirmed.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

  • My apologies if this has been covered before - I've searched but couldn't find it.

In the Quidco help section it says: "It's fine to make a purchase for a friend or family member..."

Could the Quidco rep just confirm that this means I can sign on to Quidco on my account, click through to a site offering cashback and then make a purchase, or sign up for a service (eg Sky, O2 etc) using someone else's name and bank details?

I have a relative who wants to sign up for broadband and I noticed there was some cashback offered on Quidco but this person doesn't want to set up a Quidco account, so I offered to sign up via Quidco, using their name, and give them whatever cashback it generates.

If this is correct, maybe the Help text could be expanded a bit just to clarify that someone else's name and card or bank details can be used to actually make the purchase on the site offering the cashback.

Many thanks, hope you can confirm this.

I took out a Legal and General insurance policy and this was December 2010, it offered £90 Cashback, 9 month's on still nothing? Very misleading and even though I have sent messages, nothing gets sorted.
