Good morning,
@TillyCat – I’m so sorry about the delay with AA. We have been in communication with them and with their network and we’re assured that they will catch up with all of the older payments within the next month.
@curlytoo – I’m assuming that your Adobe cashback was declined due to competing cookies and I agree, it’s very frustrating when that happens. Cashback is actually the commission we receive from a retailer for referring an on line sale to them. The sale has to be completed wholly on line and has to be directly attributed to Quidco. When you click through on our site, we have no way of knowing whether you actually made a purchase, as a click-through is recorded every time you visit a site via Quidco, whether or not it results in a purchase.
Once it’s confirmed that a purchase was made and your purchase tracks in your Quidco account, the retailer’s affiliate network starts the validation process and this involves ensuring that the purchase was completed wholly on line without intervention required directly from the retailer, that the purchase wasn’t amended or returned/cancelled and that the Quidco cookie was the only cookie present on your browser at the time, identifying Quidco as the referrer of the sale.
If cookies from other sites you have visited previous to or during your purchase are present, then any stronger cookie will overpower the Quidco cookie. These cookies can belong to any site, such as those issuing voucher codes, a search engine, comparison site or even the retailer’s own site, which is why it’s so important to clear all cookies and follow the rest of our advice in the “How do I make a Purchase?” question in our help pages. It’s also why cashback can never be guaranteed until it actually reaches us, at which point we pass it on to you.
With your latest purchase from Pneus Online, I’m afraid it does sound as though they need to complete the purchase with you directly, and anything that prevents a totally on line sale will jeopardise cashback. As to why they have tracked it at a lower amount, that is unusual for them but if they approve the cashback there is time for their network to uplift the amount prior to payment. If it updates to confirmed status at the wrong rate, do raise an incorrect cashback claim and we’ll be happy to send it off for you to obtain any shortfall due to you.
Goodness! That was a long response but I hope I’ve provided some clarity around the process and Quidco’s part in that process.
@shaftingham – do sympathise with your wait but the vast majority of cashback is actually paid within 3 – 6 months. The odd delays, such as the one with AA, naturally cause anger and concern, but we are not complacent.
Claims do take longer as the processes mentioned in my post above have to be carried our manually, but as your claims are approved, we’re actually waiting for the cashback and we’ll chase that until it arrives, as always. Until cashback payment times can be guaranteed, there is always going to be the odd delayed payment, but the amount of cashback outstanding for Quidco customers’ purchases over 6 months old is actually much lower than at any time during the last few years, despite the large increase in our membership, and that’s due to our continued efforts to shorten payment times for you all.
@denise38 – as you have already had some of your cashback paid but at an incorrect rate, like Prop56, then can you also follow the advice that I gave in my response to the post. I’ll take a look at this for you.
Please believe me when I say that we share your frustration with these delays.
Kind regards,

As an apology Apple have given me a discount code to use on their online store. It's not a specific percentage but is £21 off a £70 spend and so on. The more I spend the more discount I get.
I have noticed that I can get 3% back through Quidco. Can I also use the code Apple gave me without one cancelling out the other?0 -

@Boa21 – Shop2 aren’t so far behind now so that should have been received. Are you sure it’s not updated to confirmed? If you speak to the Quidcare Team they will update you on this and on your claims. Just use the contact form on help and select the following question:
“Why hasn’t my cashback updated to confirmed yet?”
Mention all three. They will also be able to see whether your ebookers claim has been approved yet.
Kind regards,
Jules[/QUOTE]
Spooky! a couple of days after posting the ebookers and shop2 payments were confirmed. Not sure why the ebookers is showing as a slightly different amount from the claim, but not too worried about 13p. So thanks if this was a prompt!
Just waiting for one biggy - £58 from Bestbuy, but it still a bit early.
For info, 7dayshop.com tend to payout really quickly and they're great for all sorts of odds and ends:DThe force is strong in this one!0 -
Hi Quidco rep I have been with Quidco since the start - fair play I have had a generous amount of cashback but recently last 2 years or so - both lack of reliability tracking and amounts have lead me astray to another site (no names)....this is a shame because it seems the bigger you are getting the less you care...Tv ads etc but I can't see how more unsatisfied customers will help to build your numbers. For a start a Swiftcover policy last year didn't track then I raised a enquiry then a 9 months later it was cancel with a standard cut/paste response about another affliate network. This year only because it was the lowest premium insurance and yours was the only site offering cashback for Asda insurance via your Quidco Compare Car insurance service. I paid and took out policy in one transaction 13/9 - it didn't track so I verified the policy but over a month and nothing moved over to tracked. I'm not holding my breath but if your system still can keep quotes generated via Quidco compare and its been verified - I would expect a bit of quicker movement. The policy has been fully paid and is past its cancellation period - how much longer should I expect to wait before any change? Looking forward to your standard reply no doubt....but perhaps you can prove me wrong. In the words of Jerry Maguire "SHOW ME THE MONEY"0

Good morning,
@HappyChappy84 – I’m afraid not. If you use a code issued by a retailer, they won’t view Quidco as having referred the sale and cashback won’t apply.
@donerkebab – I’m sorry you’ve had these problems. We don’t carry out the tracking; that’s done by the affiliate networks used by the retailers. Tracking percentages are no lower than they have ever been though, but I do appreciate that it’s very disappointing when cashback is declined because the commission for the sale has been paid to another referrer.
I can explain about your Quidco Compare purchase. This works differently to normal on line cashback and purchases and can take up to 8 weeks to track. Once tracked, though they have already been through the validation process, which means that the cashback is approved. As you’ve verified your purchase, we have everything we need to get this tracked for you. We do advise customers of the time scales in the Quidco Compare pages and also in the help section dedicated to the Quidco Compare service.
Kind regards,

I'm highly skeptical about the idea of conflicting cookies, as I'm quite a control freak when it comes to allowing web sites to do things, and it seems more likely that Quidco's cookie was rejected my my computer because I hadn't explicitly allowed something I didn't know I needed to.
The good news is the Pneus Online have come good, after some pressure from both sides.
Thank you.0 -
Wow cant believe it just been paid scottish power cash back!!!!!Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
