@ margf – I’m afraid that npower does have a delay and I’m sorry you’re having to wait, but we are chasing this up. When we respond to you, it’s always after checking with the payments team to see if there is a payment scheduled from a particular retailer.
Kind regards,
Jules[/QUOTE]
Received the same reply this month after chasing it up as I did last month and the month before.
If I owed NPower £100 and it was outstanding for this length of time, I am sure they would be taking steps to recover it from me.
I would like to know the reason they are not paying you which is resulting in me not being paid and what action you are taking to recover this money.

We had thought that the payment we were expecting on 15 August would cover outstanding New Vista payments but that’s clearly not been the case. Their next payment is due around 8 September and New Vista will definitely be brought up to date from that payment.

I made a npower switch on 7th April (tracked within a day) for Gas & Electric that finalised on the 19th May, Direct Debits started July, so hopefully will get it this month. (If it doesn't I will start to get worried)
On the TCB site its say's they have received payments for switches in May.
On another note, last year with Quidco switched Dual Fuels to EDF and Car Insurance to AVIVA no poblems with payment and pretty quick with EDF.
This year LV now showing as confirmed for April transacation and a Holiday Inn showing as tracked.
On a forum if you get good service it should be mentioned0 -
Good morning,
@Rusty-London. Completing the purchase wholly on line is really a standard term of cashback. The purchase has to be tracked and the sale approved as having come via Quidco. If a retailer has to become involved, for whatever the reason, it’s very unlikely that they will pay us a commission to pass on to you as cashback. Credit checks are one of the things which prevent the purchase from being completed on line. If Vodafone can provide you with a on line sales reference in the format they request from us we will of course be happy to send off a claim for you as we like our customers to be able to earn cashback.
@almillar – you’re very welcome.
@margf – I seem to remember that your npower purchase was made at the beginning of the year. We do have a batch of older payments outstanding from npower and the payments team is speaking to npower and their affiliate network on a regular basis to chase this up for you. Whilst there are no guaranteed payment times for cashback, we don’t think that delays of this length are acceptable and every effort is being made to ensure that you don’t have to wait for too much longer for your cashback. If you would like to raise a formal complaint about this, and mention your post on here, this will be treated as such, as without seeing your Quidco account I am unable to advise you further. You’ll find the complaints procedure in the Help section on our site.
@iduno86 – We have just received the payment that we were expecting on 8 September. This covers New Vista transactions up to the middle of July. Unfortunately, this didn’t arrive in time for the cut-off date for the 15 September payment run, but as soon as the payments team can start applying payments again next week, you’ll see all relevant New Vista transactions being confirmed.
@dy1geo – over the last 12 months npower have been taking an average of 5 months, from the switch-over date, to confirming cashback. Some batches are confirmed more quickly and some take a little longer. We can really only go by historical data. If your energy switch went live in May, we would normally expect payment next month. If it does take longer than the average processing time we will chase npower up for you.

I use TCB for most of my purchases but I noticed that Quidco had a special deal with Aviva on car insurance which expired 13 Sept 2011. Last night (13th Sept) I bought a policy from Aviva through Quidco, and on the page it said that it could possibly track within six hours. I checked this morning, and it has still not tracked. TCB always send me an email immediately after a purchase to confirm the purchase and it always shows in my account immediately. With Quidco, I have no proof of when my purchase was made, and therefore there could be a problem claiming the cashback.0

Good morning,
@Bugalugs – Oh dear, no reason at all and I’m so sorry! It wasn’t intentional. I just missed it for some reason.
I’m afraid I can’t look at individual purchases or Quidco accounts on here, but if you’ve already contacted the Quidcare Team about this and wish to raise it with me as a formal complaint, the complaints procedure is detailed in our All Help pages. Please mention this forum in your complaint and I’ll be happy to take a look at your account for you.
As regards agreements around payment times, we deal with the affiliate network used by a retailer in most cases, and we have started to put in contracts with those networks as we are also very keen to make processing and payment periods as short as possible for our customers. Cashback has to pass through several parties hands prior to reaching us. We work with all of those parties to improve the end to end process and we certainly advise all retailers joining us as to what we consider to be an acceptable length of time to wait for cashback. This can vary depending on the product, as we know cashback for insurance and other financial products can generally take around 6 months and we accept that, as usually large amounts of cashback are involved and these companies like to be sure that contracts etc. haven’t been cancelled prior to paying.
@hansi – Don’t worry, it’s normal for cashback to take up to 3 days to track and we also send out a tracking confirmation email when a purchase tracks. There is still time for this to track but if there is still no sign of it in your activity page after 3 days, please contact the Quidcare Team and they will be able to advise you. To contact them please use the following question in the contact form on our help page:
“My purchase has not tracked/is not showing in my Quidco account. What can I do?”

Last Saturday, I upgraded to Sky Broadband and Talk through Quidco with an offer of £110 cashback. The order did not track through Quidco and I have now raised a claim after waiting 3 days. My question is shall I just cancel the complete order and try again as it is such a short while since placing the order, it is not going to make a great difference time scale wise. I have read many stories on here where Sky does not track initially and then the claim is declined. £110 is a lot of money to lose and I really want to do whatever I can to guarantee it. Please could you advise?something missing0

On a positive note, my Sheila's Wheels claim, outstanding since August 2010 has today changed to confirmed. Spookily, today is also the annual renewal date for the cover and I haven't stopped the automatic renewal as I'm happy to leave the cover with them...I am a mortgage broker.
