Hi Ive signed up to quidco and have found the deals to be very good. Anyways i have two questions if someone could help.
1) can i add my girlfriends joint account details to the site ive already added mine but wasn't sure if this is allowed as its technically her but from an account we both put money into and we only buy stuff we both need.

2) when you sign upto william hill etc for the cashback deals is that it or can you use the next cashbak deal that comes up for william hill?

thanks in advance

Pretty fed-up with some of the long delays - The Hut and ShopTo both from last December. I had an message a couple of months ago apologising for the delay - but nothing since.

My main beef though is with the claim I raised for an ebookers transaction. This was over £30 cashback and Quidco don't seem to be doing much.
The force is strong in this one!

The cashback for Gap seems to be tracking at the old rate - A £13.99 spend after postage has tracked at 70p should it not be £1.39 now it's been increased to 10%?

Edit: Just to add my 2nd GAP order tracked at the higher 10% rate today but the first one has not -

• I successfully opened an everyday current account with Santander through Quidco which should apparently gain me £33.33 pounds cashback.

I'm already keeping the paperwork in anticipation of having to raise, and then consequently pursue, a claim ..

Its good to be cautious although i have to say that 99% of my Quidco transactions track and pay out with no problems, I have had to raise several claims and so far except 2 which are still being looked into i have always recieved payment.

Well i'm about 3 months and counting on a Gala Bingo offer, and about 3 raised claims down with that one as well - only £20 quid as well.

I often wonder what would happen if Quidco had to advertise the fact that many claims won't actually pay out until anywhere between 3-6 months after the fact.

Good morning,

I’m sorry we didn’t get to post on here yesterday.

@prop56 – We have had quite a few delays with AA and we have been speaking to them about these. We’ve been assured that they will have caught up over the next month. I’d like to take a look at your claim for you though, to make sure it all looks OK. Can you please use the complaints procedure on the help page and when writing, be sure to mention your post on here and that the complaint needs to go to me.

@MorrisonsEmployee – Without seeing your account I can’t really give you an update on your claims. If you do the same as I advised @prop56 above, I’ll have a look for you as neither of those retailers are with the network which we know has large processing delays.

As regards your Gap purchases the Quidcare Team will take a look for you. Please use the contact form on the help page and select the following question:

“Why has my cashback tracked at the wrong amount?”

@HELSINKI77 – I’m sorry to hear that AA declined your cashback. We will be holding on to your claim until their 90 day validation period ends, as they won’t accept a claim within 3 months of purchase. Once it’s sent off to them they will process it for us and as soon as we have a resolution we will update you. This process will take a month or two.

@prowla – Tracking runs at around 97% successful and there’s no reason why larger amounts should be different to small amount of cashback as regards tracking. Do be sure that you always clear all cookies and temporary internet files in your browser prior to logging in to Quidco, as this will help minimise the risk of tracking failure.

@taxi73 – I’m very sorry to hear that. The problem is that cashback payment times are not guaranteed and cashback also has to pass through various parties prior to reaching us. We can’t pay you until we receive the cashback and we don’t like delays either. If a hold-up occurs with one of those parties, we always try our best to hurry things along for you, so when you’re chasing payments you can be sure we’re already working to get your cashback for you.

@jblakes – welcome to Quidco. I can answer your questions for you.

1) You can only have details for one bank account on your Quidco account.

2) No, I’m afraid that gambling sites are for new sign-ups only, so once you’ve signed up you can’t take advantage of further cashback offers. Also, if you’ve already signed up to William Hill in the past you won’t be eligible for the cashback. You and your girlfriend could each have a separate Quidco account though, and benefit by each of you getting the cashback for these offers.

@Boa21 – Shop2 aren’t so far behind now so that should have been received. Are you sure it’s not updated to confirmed? If you speak to the Quidcare Team they will update you on this and on your claims. Just use the contact form on help and select the following question:

“Why hasn’t my cashback updated to confirmed yet?”

Mention all three. They will also be able to see whether your ebookers claim has been approved yet.

@JasonWatkins – we do make clear on the site that cashback can be a lengthy business at times. Claims can take 6 months but Quidco does obtain a resolution for all claims and we chase them up constantly. We just can’t give a guarantee around timings. As it seems you have to raise a lot of claims in proportion to purchases, there may be a problem with your browser settings. Do be sure to follow all guidelines in the “How do I make a purchase?” section on the help page. This should help greatly.

Kind regards,

Jules

Hi quidco rep, sorry to have to bring up my AA claim again, but I'm still waiting for the correct cashback to be paid after nearly a year.

The deal cost over £100 so the cashback should have been around £50.It tracked at £14,but indicated it would revert to the higher amount when paid. However,it didn't and was paid at just £14.I've raised a claim over 6 months ago with your help desk but haven't received any indication that his dispute is ever going to get resolved.

are AA always this late?

Still not got my AA cashback and it's over a year now. I just keep getting the ' you will get it when we get it' response when I ask Quidco. Not impressed.
• Hello fellow Quidco lovers... I think I still count myself as one... just.

Last night I got a tracking receipt for Pneus Online for a purchase about one third of what I spent (which was a lot). So I put in a query to Quidco. Anyway, this morning Pneus Online had the cheek to ask me "...please send us an utility bill of less than 3 months (electricity, gas, water, landline or internet). The tyres will be shipped when we receive your bill. This request is to check information and prevent our companies and our customers from frauds."

So I said I would be happy to comply with this unusual request providing they sorted out the Quidco problem satisfactorily. They replied politely saying that it was a matter between me and Quidco, and they doubt Quidco will give me any cashback if they don't process the order.

The thing is that this reminds me of my horror story with Quidco last year. I had to purchase a very expensive piece of software. I had the option of buying from Amazon at about 5% off the list price, or direct from Adobe, with 10% back from Quidco. So I chose the Adobe/Quidco route; but despite evidence with Quidco of clicking through, and a receipt from Adobe at that time for £1,032, my claim for £103.20 was declined.

It's possible that my browser settings were not optimal (ie. I was authorising domains in NoScript manually), but there was a clear clickthrough, and a clear purchase. To be honest, I blamed Adobe more than Quidco, and never lose an opportunity to tell people exactly what I think of them in terms that I won't repeat here in case anyone is easily shocked.

With Pneus Online, I sense the same "ethos", and then I thought of MoneySavingExpert, and I wondered what could be done. So here I am.

Please Mr Quidco Rep, can you tell me what should have happened with Adobe, what can be done now. And for Pneus Online, can you confirm the best course of action?

Hohoho....... you certainly are an optimist Jason! If only 3-6 months!

I have 3 claims dating from early March, Bidrivals, Nokia 888poker, apparently all approved according to Jules, and NO movement on any of them. Not a whiff, approaching 7 months. With inflation, they'll probably be worthless by the time (if) I ever see them......
