  • Thank you QCR. Much appreciated.

Redrobot, do a new quote online today. I just did and my premium went down by £10 since I last quoted on Saturday.

    Hi Quidco Rep

Are Aviva blocking customers retrieving quotes and making use of new cashback rate?

Tried to retreive a quote today (that was made on Wednesday 21st Sept) - But quote number wasn't recognised.
On phoning up Aviva 'help'desk could view my quote and willing to take payment over the phone, but obviously won't get cashback.

    Undecided what to do?

I believe, and I could be wrong, but you won't get cashback on retrieved quotes. You have to get a quote and buy it there and then. Oh, and QCR, regarding my Aviva query, 90 days before you can contact them, that's ridiculous. What happened to the "usually tracks within three days" on your website? And then only if successful! It's back to TCB for me!

Quidco website now states Aviva can track in hours! :D:D. So why do I have to wait 90 days before Quidco can even contact them?
  • Hi Quidco rep,

My partner and I played through a few Online Bingo introductory offers over the weekend, all of them offering cashback through Quidco.

Two of them have tracked (William Hill, Gala Bingo -£20 each), however another two haven't (Caesars Bingo, Sun Bingo, Jackpot Joy). I used the same PC for all 5 transactions, and definitely logged in through Quidco for all five.

They ought to have all tracked "Within 6 Hours". Have others experienced similar problems, and is it possible to chase these up if they don't track soon?

    Thanks.

    Good morning,

@yozzer2006 – Sky cashback should only take a couple of hours to track in, although it may take up to 3 days on occasion. If, after 3 days it still hasn’t tracked in, please raise a missing cashback claim and we can then ask the retailer to track this in manually for us.

@redrobot – As per the advice of others on this topic, please don’t use a saved quote! Insurers generally will not pay cashback for a saved/retrieved quote. You must make sure that you go through and make a new quote, before making the purchase.

@hansi – We know the 90 days isn’t ideal, if there was a way that we could send the claims off earlier then we would love to do this! Unfortunately the retailer simply won’t accept claims from us until the validation period has passed. The majority of insurers will have a 90 – 120 day validation period. In regards to the statistics, the tracking time reflects purchases that have tracked in naturally, as opposed to those that have to be tracked in via a claim. On average, Aviva claims will take around six months to be confirmed in your Quidco account, from the submission of the claim.

@connoro30 – We generally advise to wait 3 days for your purchase to track in, and if it does not track in after 3 days you will need to raise a missing cashback claim (http://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry). There are several reasons why a purchase may not track, and as long as you’ve met all the retailer’s terms and conditions I wouldn’t worry. Your browser/security software settings can sometimes affect tracking, as they can on occasion block the access of the affiliate networks (who we use to track and process your cashback). For more help or information on tracking, don’t hesitate to contact the Quidcare Team directly, and they will be happy to advise.

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

    Hi Quidco Rep.

I raised a claim on the 7th August with Hotels4u for £21.83 which didn't appear to track. It is still showing as claim raised.

Any idea how long this is likely to take before getting resolved ?

    Thanks in advance
  • I have had a Vodafone cashback of £120 tracking since 26th November 2010.
Sent first email on 24th November with a query about it and then 13 more since chasing it up. Been speaking to someone called Liam. And now I have just noticed that you are advertising an offer of "£100 cashback + 3 months 1/2 price on the iPhone 4". I cant believe you can still be offering this as i am STILL after 10 months yet to receive MY £120 cashback from Vodafone and i seem to never get any real answers from Quidco. Please can you explain how you can still offer deals with Vodafone when they have yet to honnor my claim?. Where do I go from here?
  • Got the quidco email this morning, noticed that Virgin Media were offering £150 cashback, whoop whoop, been waiting for one of these to come up! Signed up this morning, but it's tracking as 0.00??? My install date is next friday, so am tempted to cancel next thursday if it has not corrected itself! Has anyone else had similar problems?

    Kind regards
    Andrea

    Good morning,

@CCFC_80 - Hotels4U claims usually take around four months to be confirmed in your account. Also, it will appear as "claim raised" in your account until the cashback is paid to us, at which point it will move to confirmed status.

@Bog Brush - I am very sorry to hear that this is still outstanding. Can you clarify if your purchase was previously declined? As this does unfortunately prolong the process. If you would like to supply me with your Quidco username I will be more than happy to have a look into this for you.

@andrea_louise - Don't worry! Presently Virgin Media cashback is tracking at £0.00 but this should become updated in due course.

    Kind regards,

I raised a claim for cruise.co.uk over six months ago, and its still showing as "Claim Raised". I provided all the information you requested at the time.
Your cashback claim is in the system and we are on the case
Havent you been on the case for long enough?
