    Hi @lumi

If you find a higher applicable cashback rate for your purchase on any other UK cashback site, we will match that rate in full.

    Kind Regards,

Does that include the use of discount codes listed on the other cashabck website which are NOT listed on the Quidco website?

    Hi esteemed MSEr's

Can anyone help me solve this predicament?

I went through quidco for £110 cashback from plusnet.

Quidco claimed that plusnet has said I've cancelled the order, while plusnet confirms I'm with them but the operators I speak to simply state that quidco is a third party site they cannot help me with.....

On protesting, quidco then said that the referral had gone to another website (but wouldn't tell me which one)

Now quidco wants me to get an email from plusnet, confirming that they'll pay the £110 to quidco. I have managed to get an email from plusnet confirming that I placed the order via quidco and that the account is very much active.

How can I get my £110?

It's clearly a lot of money and it seems either/neither party wants to pay, or is keeping the amount for itself.

Quidco has offered me £20 instead, but that is clearly unsatisfactory

Needless to say, I'm a knowledgeable consumer, have used cashback sites for years, and know all about tracking, etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @lumi,

This does not include the use of discount codes listed on other cashback sites which are not listed on the retailers Quidco page.

    Hi @keiran

I'm sorry to hear your cashback has been declined.

Unfortunately we are unable to discuss your account here due to privacy. However, now that you have the email from the retailer confirming that you went through your Quidco account to make a purchase and didn't cancel the order, may I ask you to send this through to members@quidco.com they will investigate this further for you.

    Kind Regards,

    Joan

    Hi Joan

    Thanks for reply
I have indeed forwarded that email and other supporting evidence to you now.

I did, in fact, send that email confirming the purchase was via quidco to another staff , who has, sadly, maintained his position that he wants plusnet to confirm in an email to me that they'll pay the £110 to quidco...Plusnet staff tell me they cannot do this as quidco is a third party site which they allege they have nothing to do with (though clearly there'll have been senior negotiations between quidco and plusnet about referral commissions!)

I have done all I can and spent much time and effort in this matter and now expect quidco to honour the cashback, as I have done everything correctly.

Look out for the Faster Paying icon

Retailers labeled Faster paying agree to process transactions quicker which in turn allows us to speed up the payment of cashback to our members. To benefit from this feature you need to upgrade to a Quidco Premium account.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but how do the 'faster paying' merchants know if the purchase was made by a Quidco 'premium' member?
Is it not that all payments come through together and that Quidco holds onto longer, payments due to non 'premium' members?
I don't mind paying £5 per year to be a member, whether 'premium' or normal member, but I just don't get this!
I'm willing to be educated though.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

    Hi @B_M

Premium and Basic Member transactions are sent off in different batches and we send the Premium ones off first. This way the retailers are able to discern between the two and will pay the Premium Members cashback first.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks Ellie, but I'm not sure I get that!
What's sent off? I'm not talking about non-trackers here, but regular tracked transactions. I thought everything was done via an affiliate network? Are you suggesting that Quidco 'invoice' the affiliate networks and at different times depending on membership level?

    Hi @B_M,

I'm sorry if there's been any confusion.

To clarify, we tag all transactions as 'originating from a Premium member' and 'originating from a Basic member' when we send them through to our affiliate network, who will sort them into two batches, and then send them to the retailer. The retailer will know to process the premium batch first and will come to the basic members next, which can result in the premium members receiving their cashback faster by up to two weeks.

If you have any further queries I'd be happy to help!

    Kind Regards,

    Nick

My higher cashback claim was processed successfully but the additional cashback claim awarded was LOWER than that offered by the other cashback website on the day (and following days after) I placed my order. In this instance the difference is quite small so I won't chase it up but it is not fair and I won't be going through Quidco again if a competitor offers a better rate. Quidco have obviously given me the rate that the competitor is offering on the day they've processed my claim but this is lower than the day I made the purchase (and I can confirm this as I took screen shots of each website as evidence).
