I used Quidco to register for a Tesco credit card last Thursday. I notice that it is still not tracking. Therefore I was planning to make a claim (as it was over five days ago). I have gone here: https://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry/

It says: " There is a possibility that your cashback could be declined and if you have the option to cancel or return your purchase, you may wish to consider doing this rather than raising the claim for missing cashback.

If you raise a cashback claim the Quidco support team will hold this for 30 days from the purchase date. The reason for this is that Tesco Bank Credit Card for Purchases will only accept claims after this time has completed.

Please confirm that you understand the process
and wish to submit a missing cashback claim

Does this mean that tracking will not take place for thirty days? Maybe to stop people opening a credit card and then closing it (just to get cashback - I am not planning to do this)? I clicked "I confirm". I was then presented with a list of dates and times (I assumed these were the dates and time I accessed the Tesco website). I guess I should select the latest date and time?

I have not submitted a claim yet.

    Hello @w00519772,

The 30 day hold period refers to a period where we may hold the claim before submitting it to the retailer. You'll still need to raise the claim within 7 weeks of your purchase date and let it go through that hold period as we have a 7-week deadline on claims.

You'll need to select the date of the day you made the purchase from Tesco Bank, as we need the claim to correspond with the same information you gave to Tesco Bank when you made this purchase.

    I do hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

Just thought it worth mentioning that Quidco Customer Service has been exceedingly helpful to me!

I have used Quidco for a few years now and always received cashback. I had been waiting for a long time for Churchill to pay the cashback. Quidco replied to my enquiry as to why I hadn't been paid by giving me the money owed as a gesture of goodwill. They said they would take the matter up with Churchill seperately.

Nice to see Poc and shows there can be decent service out there.
It sure looks like Quidco has listened to and put the member first.
    Refreshing.
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

I made a complaint to Morethan after they refused to pay cashback eventhough I bought a policy.
They initially referred me to Quidco. I contacted Morethan again and today I received my cash back.

I'm not getting anywhere with my cashback claim for taking out insurance with Direct Line last August. It seems they are sitting on the claim and have been for a month now, I don't know why they can't just pay it. I keep contacting Quidco and I'm told that the payment team is chasing it and there is nothing more they can do until Direct Line pay up. It has put me off using them in the future for insurance. :(

    Hi @littlewren,

I am sorry to hear that your cashback has taken longer than the estimated processing time.

Insurance policy cashbacks tend to take up to 7 months to process, because of the various checks and procedures that need to be taken to ensure that members are protected against fraud, as well as to ensure that they have not cancelled the policy during the cooling-off period.

Nevertheless, as is the case with any delayed cashback, you can be sure that we will continue to work to make sure that we can secure the payment of your cashback as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,

    Joseph
