When it finally became available, I made my Quidco cashback withdrawal via Amazon voucher credit and that has now been paid to me today.
It has been frustrating trying to receive the cashback from Quidco. Whether it was the fault of Nick, the Quidco support worker I got matched with, or if this is a regular problem with the site, I don't know. But I've now closed my Quidco account and won't use their website again.
I give thanks to Amy, the Quidco Company Representative on here who helped me to receive my cashback, and even bigger thanks to MSE for being the medium to make it happen.
Merry Xmas to :money:MSE!0 -
I am worried my Quidco account has been hacked and money removed as Amazon vouchers. I had £91.15 removed on 5th December that I just noticed. It was removed to my email that I think has also been hacked. Problem is that Talk Talk have blocked all access to my email for some weeks and I cannot access it at all despite many calls to them.
When I checked my quidco account today someone has substituted their hotmail address into my paypal field-I managed to change this back and reset my password.
Can someone from Quidco contact me so that I can go through what has happened please? I have lost all of my cash back through this Fraudulent activity0 -

Hi @venous,
We do of course take the security of your account very seriously and we will do everything we can to rectify this for you.
If you could contact the customer support team through the 'Support' tab in your account, we will be able to investigate this further for you.
Kind Regards

I took out AA cover today via Quidco. I neglected to read the small print on Quidco and which says that cashback will not be paid if you sign up with a direct debit which is what I did
I've logged in this evening and my sign up to the AA is tracked - does that mean they are going to pay the cash back anyway? if you could let me know that would help.
Otherwise I'll have to cancel tomorrow and rejoin paying using a card. If I can avoid that faff I would like to.0 -

Hi @Anomaly100
Unfortunately, the fact that cashback tracks does not ensure that the cashback will be paid, as we still have to wait for a response back from the retailer regarding their decision.
If you haven't adhered to the terms and conditions that it is most likely that the cashback will be declined I'm afraid.
I hope this helps.
Kind Regards

I've never used any cashback sites, so just wanted one last confirmation as this is interests me.
Lets say for example I am buying a coat on ASOS (quidco offers 10% cashback on asos) which originally costs £150, but was reduced on the sale to £100. Quidco would then give me back £10?
Also how is it linked to your account.. do you link your quidco to your bank card and its done automatically, or is there a code you use when buying online?
Would it work with a debit card or does it have to be credit card?
Also if I pay using my TSB debit card which offers 5% cashback anyway. Using the above example buying something for £100.. I would get £5 cashback from TSB, plus the £10 cashback from quidco?0 -

Your TSB debit card offers 5% cashback on contactless instore transactions only. And they are each limited to £30 max.
To get cashback, just click the link to the shop from their page on Quidco (assuming you've joined). After that you pay ASOS as you normally would online. Quidco don't know or care what card you use. The purchase will be recorded by an intermediary 'affiliate network' who pass cashback from the merchant (retailer) to Quidco who pay it to you.
It's worth reading the FAQ / help pages www.quidco.com/help/?amcf=1451523625# which explain the process. (At the risk of confusing you, you can register a debit/credit card at Quidco just to get cashback on in-store purchases. See www.quidco.com/quidco-high-street/retailers )
Also, ensure you read the detail on each merchant's Quidco page. Terms with ASOS include 'Cashback may not be paid on VAT / delivery' so your actual payout might be closer to £8.
And if you were an existing customer, under £2.:(
Finally, I'm not sure that coat goes with those shoes...0 -

I have now just received a notification from Quidco to say that the cashback has been declined! No explanation has been given and when I try to raise a claim via Quidco I get a message saying that 'we are unable to investigate transactions for this merchant'. I've satisfied all the conditions (cookies etc.) and the policy has definitely gone through - I've paid for it!!
Very frustrating and pretty poor service. Why do Quidco deal with companies that they are unable to get feedback from when things go wrong? It seems like Direct Line just use the cashback offer to lure people into buying a policy.
Seems like a con to me!!
Exactly the same has happened to me. I'm furious!!
£70-£75 may not be a lot to some people but I was relying on this money to be paid back to me!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
@happyhaggis, UK Insurance (Direct Line plus others) appear to be using affiliate marketing purely to gain sales with scant regard to actually paying.
Tcb members (myself included) have had a nightmare with Direct Line. I eventually received my cash, but I had to go to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
Put in a complaint to DL and state you believe you have been mis sold a financial product due to the non payment of affiliate marketing by DL and / or their agents. They have 8 weeks to pay up, or you can then contact the FOS and they will take on your case and charge DL (Uk Insurance) £550.

Good luck, but the big 2 cash back sites refuse to drop DL.
Thank you for this info - I'm so cross that I'll be taking this route too - any letter templates out there for this?"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
A request to all cashback sites reading this that you STOP listing Direct Line - they make up their own minds whether to pay out. They apparently give no explanation to either the cashback site or consumer!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0
