    hi

I have an old tracked transaction on my account for an engage mutual child trust fund I took out in 2010. It was meant to be £50 but tracked at £25 and has sat there for a year! I have never been able to raise a query on the transaction as it just comes up with unable to raise one for that merchant.

Am I ever likely to see this cashback?

    Good morning,

@1drunkbit – If your flatmate is experiencing the same issue, it does sound like the problem will be something to do with your household internet/computers as opposed to the Quidco site. It could be worth contacting Sky to see if there is a problem somewhere. It could also be worth checking your security software to see if there is a block on Quidco at all?

@In_A_Pickle – I’m very sorry to hear that your transaction hasn’t been paid to you and I will be more than happy to have a look into this for you. Can I ask you to send me an email at juliewells@quidco.com with details of the transaction to allow me to investigate further?

    Kind regards,

    Rosie

    Good morning,

@mirrorimage0 - I'm afraid that B & Q stopped taking part in In-store cashback on 22 April this year. We did write to our customers to to advise them of this in advance, so I'm sorry if you missed the email. Any approved cashback you earned by using your credit/debit card in their stores prior to that date will of course be honoured. It's currently taking around 6 months in total, but if you have anything older than this, please contact the Quidcare Team and they'll be happy to look into these for you. To contact them please use the question below in the contact form on our help page:

Why hasn't my cashback updated to confirmed yet?

    Kind regards,

    Jules

  • I'm planning that this will be my last post here -. Quidco were very upset with some of my other posts and I'm sorry to say that Martins' little helpers just rolled over and did what quidco wanted - had me thrown off the forum.

Anyway, enough of this; let's move on to a couple of final points.

First, I want to recognise that quidco do now, at last, advise that Flash cookies should be removed - remember that a "stronger cookie" is not one which establishes a stronger business case, rather it is one that the poor user is less likely to know about. Get rid of Flash cookies - you have been warned.

Second, as I have never received either cashback or a satisfactory explanation for the refusal, I won't be using quidco in the future - sighs of relief all round? BUT, how do I get off the bloody quidco mailing list. I have used the unsubscribe option which, by law, must now be provided and acted upon, but it seems that, like my cashback amounts, these instructions just vanish...

Finally, if you find yourselves with too much spare time on your hands, why not compare the list of retailers who work through quidco with the list who have signed up to the Prompt Payment Code - there are not many names that appear on both lists.

    Over and out .

    Good morning,

@quick-sand - I've asked our Marketing Department to ensure that you don't appear on any of our mailing lists going forward.

@scampdog - Don't worry - we haven't forgotten you either, and we share your frustration with this delay. I'm afraid Caesars' cashback is dealt with by an affiliate network who are behind with their processing due to large system and personnel changes that they have experienced over the last few months. This is not just affecting Caesars' payments, it's affecting payments from other retailers as well. We have met with them personally to stress the urgency of the situation and they are slowly catching up. We'll continue to chase this up for you until we receive it. In the meantime I really am sorry you're having to wait so long.

    Kind regards,

    Jules

And here was me about to complain about being 72 days into my 3 Mobile "we expect the cashback to come through within the next 60 days or so" promise...

But to be fair I have been chasing this up since February.

Another months goes by, Any update on the outstanding old New Vista and High Street Web payments?? This is taking a stupid amount of time now, Considering I asked this question over 6months ago, Only to get the same reply, We are still chasing the payment!!!

    Thanks in advance (yet again)
  • Yes, my account has 'stagnated' too - piles of old transactions totalling over £290 and the weeks and months go by with nothing being paid, nothing moving. Seems this scenario is all too common. Cashback should come with warnings.
