I went to the offer page http://www.quidco.com/kalixa-prepaid-mastercard/?ac, where it states:
    £7.50 cashback

Get £7.50 cashback when you are accepted for a Kalixa Prepaid Mastercard (Terms and conditions)

    Get cashback
I clicked on the link and ordered a card, which I topped up with an initial £10.

I then checked my cashback and noticed it had tracked at £7.00 instead of £7.50.

I raised an incorrect cashback claim, and received the following reply:
    Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that your cashback has tracked in at a lower amount than you expected.

I have checked your account and I'm afraid the following cashback rates were the only ones that were live at the time of your purchase:

    • £7 for an approved and issued card

I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

    Kind regards,

    Natalie

But the link I clicked on stated £7.50 (and I took a screendump of it).

I've just checked the page and it still states £7.50, and the "Get cashback" button is still there.

Would you be able to correct that, please?

Feel a bit like i've been conned. I was quoted £92.63 for airport transfer from bilbao airport to downtown bilbao with 'holiday taxis', however when i repeated this and clicking on the quidco searchbar at the top of the screen the quote was for £101.40.
The cashback on the transaction was £10.14 which leaves me £1.37 better off.
My question is: do most companies hike up prices to cover cashback when they sense you have accessed via quidco?

I already did contact you through your site and received this reply:
    Hi Berwyn,

I have had a look into this for you and I can see that every quote that you generate are always time and date dependent. This means that no two quotes will ever be exactly the same. Please be assured that this did not inflate because you had clicked through from Quidco. This will have just generated you more expensive quotes.

I do hope that this helps to explain the higher quote.

    Kind regards

    Oliver Booth

    Quidco Complaints Team

I have sent this in reply:
All i can say (and ive just tried it again) is that if you click on a quote without clicking the quidco bar the total is £92:63 and if you click again (with the excact same time and date after clicking the quidco cashback option) the total goes up to £101:40.
Therefore i'm afraid your note does not explain the higher quote. I look forward to your reply.

  • Hi

Has anyone else been having problems accessing their account?
Over the past few days I have not been able to log in with my normal username and password, so I tried resetting my password however the link was to reset password for the NUS extra rewards page which is obviously the wrong page.

Today I tried and it sent me the correct reset link to my quidco account and I successfully changed my password. However then when I went on my account, ALL my cashback and activity on the page had been deleted!! This included tracked cashback which was yet to be paid and cashback claims!

It's like I've just set up a new account, but it was definitely the same email as I've got copies of the tracking and links to the claims (these links now don't work) on my email account!

Has anyone else had this problem? Not happy :(

    Hi Quidco Rep,

I hope you can help. Quidco have declined cashback on my Sky Fibre and Talk in the sum of £120.

I have tried to get to the bottom of this but to no avail. Sky altered the date my service was going live and Quidco seem to think this means I cancelled my order - which I didn't and I am still in contract with Sky. I have offered to provide evidence of my contract with Sky in the hope that they will honour my cashback but they are just flat out refusing and I feel like I am getting stock emails from them with no-one really looking at the facts.

I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall so I really hope you can help!

    Thanks!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I logged onto Quidco Opinions, and found that there were 4 surveys for me to complete all with expiry dates in June.

I completed the first one, submitted it, and then returned to the opinions page to find the other surveys had all gone.

    Is this usual?
