I've never used quidco before, and my very first purchase didn't track. I'm about to submit a ticket thingy, but I used a discount code. Am I supposed to put the full amount or the amount paid with the discount code applied?
And how am I supposed to minus the VAT when it was already included? And am I supposed to minus the Vat from the full amount or the discounted amount?
I'm confused
Hi Gold Dust,
As long as this was a code on Quidco there shouldn't be an issue, you'll just need to pop in your purchase amount after the voucher code was entered, so for example if the item was £10 and the code was to take off £2 you would pop in £8 to claim for.
If you used a code that wasn't shown on Quidco I am afraid that this will mean that you are ineligible for the cashback as retailers will only allow the use of codes listed on Quidco in addition to cashback offered.
If your confirmation email doesn't show a breakdown before the VAT has been added you we would advise that you pop the amount into a VAT calculator such as this one -
http://www.vatcalculator.co.uk/
Should you need any further assistance using the site or when raising your claim you can get in touch with the Quidco support team here and we can talk you through it.

Good morning Quidco team,
Could you please explain why my purchase of a microsoft surface RT 32 Gb has been declined? it tracked (and as per your offer of £50 + 6%) and i have now been informed that it has been declined, the only reason i purchased this item direct from Microsoft was due to the cash back and 6% advertised on your web site. Should i return the product and purchase it cheaper else where?
Many thanks for any advise you may offer:mad:0 -

Dear all,
I was just wanting to ask a few questions. I have been dealing with issues with Sky. I originally ordered sky on the 2/12/14. The engineer was rude, down right nasty and the other engineers practically refused to install because it was too dark. I decided not to complain, but come to another arrangement at this point. Sky informed me they would contact me within 2 weeks to arrange a new appointment. It is now 17/03/14 and tomorrow is the installation.
My cashback has been declined and the quoted price on the quidco website was incorrect (please see attached screenshots) as a result I made a complaint to them ( a few weeks ago). The woman offered half price line rental, but the price is way above what I originally went for on the quidco website. I informed her of this. I then get this cheeky response (after being completely polite) to be told:
"The offer applied was a goodwill gesture in relation to the inconvenience you have encountered, If you are dissatisfied with this I can remove this from your account"
I don't particularly appreciate this tone. However, I am willing to continue with Sky as long as the price is sorted out. Through the cashback I was supposed to obtain £145, but it has been declined (I understand this due to the TV not being installed). My question is will it be paid after it is installed? Additionally can they actually charge me more based on what was quoted?
NB: I have also lost a £500 mortgage payment to my digital provider (Sky) as I have to provide a bill within the first 6 months.... which is just adding fuel to the fire.
Thank you for any assistance.

Morning Quidco Team,
So a while back I did a recommendation to my family members, that is wife, mum and dad. they did a few purchases and also had cashback on their account.
But for some odd reason my wife's and my dad's account are now blocked?
Would there be a reason for that?0 -
