According to Quidco, this receipt is 'unreadable'

The staff must be still hung over

Time to say goodbye to Quidco, customer service has gone rubbish, and the cashback rates are always beaten by Topcashback who has decent customer service, the only thing which kept me as a member was the mobile app, but even that is buggly to be unusable

    Hi there,

  • Dear Quidco rep
I am having a problem with your Quidco High St Christmas Countdown cash back. I took up the offer of £10 cash back from Bank on the 19th Dec using my registered credit card in store and met all of the terms and conditions (there was no minimum spend) I spent £10 and still have the receipt. The cash back has now tracked in my account, but only at 26p instead of the promised £10!! I have tried to submit a claim only to be told by your system that claims cannot be submitted for Bank in store cash back! I have tried to contact your live chat as a premium member but there is no one there! I am not at all impressed with this level of service. Clearly I completed the transaction correctly with Bank as it has tracked to my account, so there must be a problem with your system awarding the special Christmas offer. This is the first time that i have ever tried in store cash back (I was lured by your offer which was probably your intention!) and will also be the last if it is this unreliable. Please can you let me know how I can sort this and receive the promised £10. My username is star2000

Very much a general quidco question.

I have been using it for years and all is great apart form one issue... no windows phone app, fair enough its the 3rd biggest platform but it is growing and is significant.

So is there any plans for a windows phone app?

  • Question regards the Quidco iPhone app:

Have Quidco stopped mobile check ins altogether?

I know i've asked similar in the past, but question is have they been stopped altogether now?

I used to get quite a few a month & then in recent months this went down to 2 a month & then 1 a month. I've had nothing at all in December. So just wondered if that had now stopped?

Also, why am i getting told that there's an available check in at o2, yet when i tap it, there is nothing at all to check in?

    Hi star2000

I'm sorry to hear that this tracked incorrectly. It looks like this was due to a slight technical error so I have arranged for the remaining £9.74 to be credited to your account, and this should be confirmed in the next few hours.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Percy1983

Unfortunately we don't currently have any plans to bring out an app for the Windows Phone, but I will certainly pass your feedback on to our app development team.

    Hi JustAnotherSaver

It looks like you're using the old version of the app, which is why it's not coming up with any deals when you click on the retailer!

We have stopped check-ins now I'm afraid, however they have been replaced by our exciting new 'activate to earn' feature. This is where you can activate increased in-store cashback rates and special offers to be used in-store. You'll need to make sure you download the new version of the app to access these though.

I hope this clears things up for you!

    Merry Christmas everyone :)

    sent thanks

yes its strange because ive never heard of Browns let alone bought anything from them

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me, a purchase from one retailer tracked with another retailer I'd never used!! Their system is clearly in chaos thus adding more aggro and time to an already tedious and convoluted claims process. I am closing my Quidco account once my outstanding purchases are paid, and shan't be doing any more purchases through them as of now. Enough is enough. The final straw was an e-mail from 'support' today:

    Hi xxxxxxxl,

Thanks for submitting a cashback claim for Jackpot247.

We have put your claim on hold for now, as this retailer has a claims waiting period, during which time they will not accept a claim from us.

Please don't worry, though, as we will contact you again to advise you when we send your claim to Jackpot247.

For an indication of how long the claim may take to be resolved, please refer to the average claims processing times on the retailer's page.

    Kind regards,

    Quidco Support

I put in a claim for this weeks ago, and it appears as a manual 'tracked' in my activity list at £30, the wrong amount as it should be £50. Now I get a message above saying Quidco will claim after a certain period (no doubt months and months) which if it's tracked (albeit at the wrong amount) shouldn't be necessary should it?

I had another message from a £30 claim that I made in July stating that it's 'good news the retailer has approved it and we are waiting for the payment to forward to you' and this doesn't appear in my transactions activity log!!!

My account's a bloody mess and totally uninformative with no clear table of status for each transaction and where it's at unlike Top Cashback. Poorly designed interface and poor customer service with errors whereby transactions are being tracked to the wrong retailers.

No more, after over 2 years I'm leaving when paid. I've had enough, can't be doing with the aggro any more.

Did anyone else take advantage of the £5 cashback in blue inc on the 22nd December and £10 cashback in h samuals on the 23rd December? It was advertised on the main site here. I activated both offers but neither are showing yet, and I do not get any response from their support team about it.

    Hi Ezmondino

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had a response to the support message you sent. In-store cashback can take up to 28 days to track in to your account, so don't worry if you can't see it yet.

If it hasn't tracked after this time please get in touch and we can chase it up for you.

    Thanks :)

  • Has anyone else had a problem with having T Mobile transactions track and then be declined? I raised a Cashback Claim but I haven't heard anything since doing this and this was back in mid-November.

I have also got a claim for Legal and General Home Insurance that was made back in August and Quidco admitted there was issues with transactions tracking via email, but this hasn't been updated since it was raised. Hopefully as Quidco advised this may happen hopefully this one is in hand.

Worrying as these were not insignificant amounts of money and influenced my choice when purchasing. Be interested if anyone else has had similar issues.
