I took out Aviva Car Insurance on the 2nd August, which didn't track, so I raised a claim. Are you able to tell me how long it will take to be paid (I understand by the helpful folk at Aviva that it will definitely be paid).
I was hoping to use the £70 cashback for holiday spending, which is why I ask.
Or perhaps the Aviva rep could answer?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Hi littlewren
Thank you for your post. If you've raised a dispute with the cash back site, it usually goes through the following process:
30 days "on ice" while the cash back site is holding onto the non-tracked sale
6-8 weeks validation period
This means it can often take up to 3 months for the cash back to be received. I'm really sorry if this means you can't spend it on holiday but it does mean you'll receive it in plenty of time for the festive period, which is always nice!
I hope this helps but if you have any further questions, please feel free to email us at social@aviva.co.uk.
Kind Regards
Stephanie Carrington

Hi Stephanie,
Thankyou for your reply. Ah I see, never mind, I will just have to be patient.
May I take this chance to say what a pleasure it is to deal with a company who come back to the customer so quickly regarding issues. Aviva could teach other companies a thing or two, they have been nothing but helpful and because of this I will turn to them first for other products.
Quidco are the same, very good at answering customer queries on here, I've found.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

Hi, I can no longer get onto your site first thing in the morning, all I get after about 5 minutes of waiting is a 'maintenance message'. This has been going on for past couple of weeks. Placed an order with Asda yesterday for £40 and had to go direct, so not happy at the missed cashback opportunity. I'm not the only one this is happening to.0

Just wasted my lunch filling in their forms with the promise of being paid, only to find out right at the end that it's £25 min withdrawal!!0

Hi November2,
It maybe that there's heavy traffic in the morning, as people are checking out deals before going to work. Everyone here in the office is able to log in (we start at 8) do you get any particular error message?

Hi Marmitejam,
Are you referring to Quidco Opinions? I'm not aware of a product called Quidco Connect.
If it is Quidco Opinions that you're talking about then yes, there is a minimum payout of £25, but this can accumulate quite quickly. Some of the surveys with no payout are just for fun and will improve your chances of having others sent to you.
As with cashback itself, use of Quidco Opinions is completely optional, but we are happy with being able to give more people the chance to earn even more cashback.
Remember, if anybody has any more questions regarding Quidco Opinions, then you can go to the site and check out the FAQs or just grab us on here.
Thanks,

Hmmm! Just taken out a Building and Contents policy with Legal and General through Quidco last weekend - all clicked through and was notified but never registered. Looked at the comments and clearly this is par for the course, a procedure that is tacitly supported by Quidco (as they appear to have meekly accepted this as the status quo).
Lodged a claim and that's disappeared off the face of the earth after providing confirmation details - but later it miraculously re-apperred! The response referred me to the L&G page on Quidco says I now have to wait 150 days before they will begin to action my claim.
Why did my L&G transaction not track? Seemed automatically dumped!
Why is my claim no longer listed on my account?
Why do I have to wait so long before the claim is processed?“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.
But when I got to be twenty one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.”

Purchased Aviva car insurance thru Quidco with £70 cashback- didn't track - have noticed none of my insurance quotes do
Raised ticket 18 aug - how long does it take as i've heard alarming stories of very lonnng times( a year!) or nothing happening0 -
The message I get is that Quidco is doing mainentance. I couldn't get on again this morning (7.30am), managed to get on in the last half hour but it took a minute of waiting for it to load the page. I've never had this problem before it's only in the past couple of weeks.0

Last night when checking the App there were 3 stores available for me within 25 miles ('Two Seasons', Furniture Village and a limited choice of Tesco stores).
This morning when I powered up the app (as I was near a Furniture Village) there was no check-in deals available anywhere.
Is this the same for anybody else?
