Thanks for your support. Yes I did all of the above as I have been using cashback sites for several years. Was just returning to Quidco after giving them a miss for a few years due to previous problems but not sure that much has improved. Bought pet insurance today and decided to return to Topcashback again and fortunately it has tracked OK.0

Hi.
I took out a car insurance policy with Sainsburys Bank on 26th March 2013 via Quidco. I should have received £51 cash back but it did not track. I have raised a claim but it is now over 4 months later and all I keep getting is the occasional automated response from your system saying that it is taking longer than expected. Please can you have a look at this as I have been patient waiting for this long. I still have the car insurance policy and can send you all the details. Please don't ask me to put in a general ticket as i have tried this but got nowhere. Thanks
Hi star2000,
I'm afraid that a general ticket is the way forward for this. The team will be able to look at your account, something which I cannot do via MSE and then advise you on the best course of action. Chances are that if it's delayed (over the time stated on the merchants page when you signed up) we'll be able to do something about it. Let us know how it goes.

@littlewren If your purchase has not tracked, can you raise a missing cashback claim? This will allow us to track your purchase manually. Thanks!Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of quidco. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE0 -
Well I put in a general ticket a few days ago and this is the reply I got
"I can confirm that your claim is currently with the retailer and we are waiting for them to confirm them to pay the cashback so we can pass this on to you.
I can confirm that claims with this retailer can take anything up to 7 months to be paid, but we will chase them to try and hurry the payment where possible."
It's pretty much telling me to go away and wait another 3 months with no personal service at all or promise that Quidco will look into my claim specifically and get back to me in a few days with more news. I really don't know why I am being made to pay the £5 premium fee (which was taken from my account automatically until I can cancel it at my next renewal date) for this poor level of customer service.
How often do you recommend I keep sending in a general query to chase this and when will I get a response specific to my case rather than being fobbed off with a generic answer?0 -
Aaarghhh, I have just been looking through my Quidco Account and I noticed that I made a £40 cashback claim for Aviva Home Insurance in August 2012. The last message I received from Quidco regarding this was in November 2012 where it said:
I am writing to you to inform you that we have now sent your claim to Aviva Home Insurance.
For an indication of how long it will take them to process this for you, please see their page on our site.
As soon as we have a resolution for you I will write to you again.
That was the last I heard - I think - as although Quidco can send a Transaction History List, it comes in a format that I can't open!
So it looks like I didn't even receive the cashback from Aviva Home Insurance either from a year ago. If this is the case, I don't stand a chance of receiving the cashback for my Aviva Car Insurance either.
Aviva Rep, please can you help?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

Virtually every day I get a 'Hang in there we are updating the site' when I log in. Whats all that about?

Nina1607 & Jenniewb: Can you please raise a ticket stating: FAO Brad Nina1607/Jenniewb then the date that you made your post regarding your O2 cashback. I will personally look into this for you.
Hello to the Quidco Rep. I too made an identical claim, as a Registered Carer for a Client, as those above and have been thwarted at every turn by the Quidco automated website to instigate a claim. Can someone in a suitable position within Quidco please help. Thanks in advance. pox.0 -
